He's speed looks so much better as of late. His burst to the rim looks as good as it was last year. His 3pt shooting has been extremely consistent. During this 10 game stretch, he's back to being a 50/40/90 player consistently. All I hope for is long term health, but I think he's back to his all-star self. He's also having averaging the highest assists he's had since the 2022-23 season.

  1. Back-ish. Love my DG, but any time something looks funny with his foot I hold my breath. And anytime he gets hit in the face. Both of those things seem to happen a lot.

He is definitely trying to show toughness out there, very plain to see

  2. He’s been back near the 50/40/90 club shooting over the last 12 games. Love having him back

  3. He was such a menace closing out games last season. Glad to see him getting back to form. We have a great core, excited to see the team round into shape down the stretch and make a push in the playoffs.

  4. One of the most important improvements to his game last season was becoming a serviceable perimeter defender, he’s not back to that yet. He’s had a couple good possessions on that end when the momentum was flowing, but for the most part he’s been a negative defensively whether for health or effort reasons.

Secondly we were doing a lot of great off-ball action with him last season and that’s seemed to disappear this season for whatever reason. He’s stands still at the wing or corner whenever he doesn’t have the ball 90% of possessions. I’d like to see him getting back to moving without the ball again.

  5. I don’t think he’ll be truly back for a while. He’s covering for it well but you can tell that his toe is still bothering him. Go look at some 2022 highlights and see the shiftiness and speed.

  6. Maybe that will increase his value enough to trade him. This team will never compete for a championship with him and his salary.

  7. After playing a game against the dead last team in the league? I would reckon the games against the Wolves will give us more clarity on where he stands atm.
