There is a lockout looming after this season I have a feeling Arte doesn’t want to do anything other than one year deals so he can be positioned to save money on post-lockout contracts and/or make it easier to sell the team.
For all the complaints, I know getting him off the book’s isn’t going to net us a star. We’re probably going to split that 38 million in 3 ways for 3 which gets us aroldis Chapman, Shane Bieber, and Jeff McNeil
