The LA Rams Renaissance (Rebuild Timeline)

The Los Angeles Rams are back at the top of the NFL. After going all-in to win Super Bowl LVI, Sean McVay and Les Snead executed one of the fastest rebuilds in league history. With Matthew Stafford playing elite football, Puka Nacua emerging as a superstar, Kyren Williams dominating on the ground, and a young defensive core led by Jared Verse, Byron Young, and Kobie Turner, the Rams are once again legitimate Super Bowl contenders. This is the LA Rams renaissance – rebuilt, reloaded, and ready to chase another Lombardi Trophy.

  1. You could do a 30 minute dive into the sequence of MIRACLE events that led to Stafford going to the Rams.
You have to know what was going on. Stafford requests a trade and tells Brad Holmes and Sheila Hamp to get everything they can for him. There were 3 main franchises trying to outbid each other for Stafford, Miami, San Francisco and Indianapolis. Indy had the best offer but inwardly, Stafford was NOT excited about going to Indy, especially after what Andrew Luck had just gone through. He was bent out of shape and his wife started making calls to get out of town, to get his mind off football. They always went to a place in the Bahamas but the resort was closed due to weather, so her agent began calling other resorts. Cabo was completely booked, all the resorts.
At the same time, Les Snead is in California, about to go to Cabo and hang out with McVay and a few others as he would normally do at the end of the season but THIS year, his wife convinced him to go with her to northern California for her fathers birthday which would also double as a family reunion. So, Les calls the resort in Cabo and cancels his reservation, the resort then goes to the waiting list and the FIRST name on it was the Staffords.
Stafford gets to the resort and the FIRST person he sees in the LOBBY is Andrew Whittworth, his future left tackle. After changing, he meets with Andrew and tells him he's being traded, Andrew begins to message McVay and asks him if he wants to meet Stafford.
After a long night of falling in love, the next morning, McVay calls Les Snead and tells him to get Stafford. Les calls his former Asst. GM, Brad Holmes and asks what the price tag is…it's STEEP. LA throws in a trade offer, giving Detroit Jared Goff and that was what sealed the deal.
Later that Saturday night, Les Snead calls Matthew Stafford and informs him that he's now an LA Ram. Life is indeed stranger than fiction. Stafford would go on to have one of his best seasons and win a title. The man said that when he knelt down after the clock ran out, he thanked GOD and be began to cry. I would, too.

  2. In 2024, Jonah Jackson only played in 2 games and was traded at the end of the year. Limmer also doesnt dress anymore since his bad performance vs the eagles in the playoffs and field goal blocking issues.

  3. The following year after their SB win was one of the worst injury riddled years under McVay's tenure. It got so bad they pulled all their starters and rested them for the following season. The O-Line went through over 10 makeshift changes throughout the year.

  4. Saquon didn’t put the Rams away in that divisional game. The Rams had a chance to win it in the red zone but turned the ball over on downs and lost the game 28-22.

  5. Great video mane, loved it. Genuinely what a good FO and good scouting can do to a franchise. The bears video was also great, I was watching that as well. What hiring great people can do to turn around a franchise or bring one out of the mud. Just subbed

  6. The 2023 Rams got jobbed by the refs at the end of the Lions game, when Puka got mugged deep in Detroit territory. It was CLEAR pass interference but the zebra swallowed his whistle. If he calls it, a chipshot FG sends them to SF and the NFC title game. Last year, there were many bad calls on both sides, but they would have beat Philly had Beaux Limmer stayed in front of Jalen Carter, their best pass rusher. Why you look away from Carter I can't imagine. Stafford gets sacked and they lose. They have been as good as anybody the past two seasons. Now, it's their time. The Lombardi once again will have horns.
