9. Derek Carr as a backup QB as a mentor role for our future franchise QB, Mendoza, is such an easy dub. Derek has been heavily intrenched into the Raiders for nearly 10 years he’s easily the best person you want to listen to if you’re hyped to be the next long term answer at QB with how well Carr knows how the Raiders work from the inside behind the scenes philosophy and on the field as well AND also being in that role of the franchise QB of the Raiders. It’s the easiest pick. What other veteran free agent coming up is gonna be this knowledgeable? Joe fucking Flacco? Russel Wilson? Geno Smith? F No.

   Derek coming back to properly pass the torch would be so great. Need this to happen.
