Interesting stats from Brady

  1. “Trae doesnt fit our offense”

Man Trae had Clint Capela leading league in PnR scoring. Imagine what he would do for Ware Bam

  2. I know it’s hard to switch tempo on the fly, but I feel like we should continue to hammer the high tempo against bad defenses and second units while running a more traditional offense against good teams.

  3. Pace works against teams that can’t defend because you overwhelm with sheer numbers, good defenses shut down the pace and force you to play meta basketball, Miami doesn’t have the talent to play that brand of basketball, so they get crushed

  4. It’s not interesting at all we are mid and we knew that last season and coming into this season

  5. What happens when you lack offensive talent and rely on a fast paced gimmick offense to make up for it. Elite defenses slow us down into a half court game and we revert back to the same heat team from the last couple of years.

  6. Feels like they score 140 vs bad defenses and 90 vs good defenses. They are so inconsistent on offense depending on who they play. Feels like they need way more wrinkles than just playing fast and ISOing against the best defenses. It just turns into Bam and Davion running into brick walls and taking bad mid-range J’s.

  7. Record setting & high pace offense only works v <.500 teams. Teams above have figured out how to force the Heat in the half court bc they don’t have an ELITE shot creator/maker

  8. Team has no consistent shooting outside of Norm and Herro and good defenses usually have a rim protector. Entire offense is just catch and go with the go usually being a drive because of our personnel, you funnel that drive into a Gobert with no shooting to punish with a kickout and welp there’s the 6-12 record.
