It’s weird how I went from about 1 year ago thinking this was the most optimistic I’ve ever been as a Wiz fan watching since the mid-80’s (finally rebuilding and not aiming for the middle) to now maybe being the lowest I’ve ever been on the franchise overnight with one trade.
Seems like I’m in the minority but I think we just burned our future and this whole rebuild to the ground for a shiny trinket. My prediction is we win enough to lose our 1st to the Knicks this year, we extend Trae 4 more years and Ted can have yet another 5-8 seed with no hope of contending for anything real.
It all reeks of Ted and short term money driven thinking.
