The offseason is going to be interesting

  1. I feel like the offense is mostly fine. The defense needs work though. But it’s nice hearing he will be aggressive in FA again

  2. Why would he feel urgency? He could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and he wouldn’t lose his job.

  3. It’s never been a talent issue. It’s been a culturally execution level. We need a guy back there that won’t allow that to happen and rally the troops on defense.

  4. If Ballard does want to save his job beyond thos year, he has to do two things. And they kinda coincide with each other.

One, be honest about guys you may have a personal fondness for. Specifically Pittman and Zaire. You have to make tough choices. And two, remake the front 7. It has to be done. Especially the linebackers.

  5. He said Zaire had a good year. I hope he honestly just said that to trade him. Cause he was awful.

  6. Did he really say he feels “no added urgency”? After CIG said “the sense of urgency has never been higher” about a dozen times in her presser?

  7. I’m fine with Buckner and Stewart returning. But they better approach this season has if they are not going to have them for the full season. Both will be 32 or older next season.

  8. Ballard usually tries to mold to what the coaches want and I’m sure Anarumo wants better coverage and pass rush out of that group.

  9. Whose fault is it our front 7 needs overhauled, and what has Ballard ever done to lead anyone to believe he’s the guy capable of rebuilding it?

  10. I did not get that massive changes are coming. I took it that they thought the team is awesome. And injuries are at fault.

  11. Pretty rich that Ballard is talking about a front 7 overhaul when these are all Ballard’s guys and we have invested dozens of day 1 and day 2 picks in our d-line with only one (Tyquan Lewis) being signed to a second contact

  12. Please, trade Buck to a contending team. He deserves so much better than the mediocrity that has surrounded him.
