6. Melton is good. Definitely the best 2 on the team and an easier starter if he gets past his minute limits now… However, theres a misconception about his offense. He’s never been an efficient scorer and in particular never been efficient from 2 or finishing at the rim. Point being we need him, but expect the O will come and go no matter what form he’s in.

7. Melton will change our season around the more he plays. Even if he’s not scoring, he’s just a massive improvement everywhere on the floor.

8. Thats a solid 20 – 25 million per year player like Wiggins. We need more of those.

10. Looks like he’s getting his legs back finally. A lot of his missed 3s this season have been short off the front rim. Figured it was only a matter of time he’d get back into game shape after like a year off.

11. We NEED more players like Melton, who are in the prime of their careers and make smart plays over and over. Aren’t fazed by the moment either. They were so so key to the 22 chip

12. I always had a feeling he is a great shooter. His form looks smooth and can release the ball pretty quick, quite the opposite of Moody if I’d say. It’s a matter of time for his shots to falling.

13. Melton plays with poise, happy to have him back.

15. So far he’s lived up to the 6 game hype from last season.

    Despite having some rust to shake off, he already has a +10.9 net rating.
