Strong agree, that’s why the ECF run was so amazing – he was so close, it would have been the most epic underdog story in NBA history.

Even the Bucks series – there was a path, a glimmer of hope. Yes even if he doesn’t get tripped by the ref they probably lose as prime Giannis was on a warpath that yea.

Yeah the “I’ll prove you wrong” mentality was great… except for the fact that besides the fluke ’21 playoffs, it never actually happened.
Why are people just pretending that we haven’t been terrible since then? We have the data that a Trae led team can’t make it out of the fucking play in. And you just can’t pay someone that kind of money to lead your team to 40-42 every season.
