5. More names thrown out meaning they most likely will not get any of them, and that is fine with me. If they were to get one of them they just might end up pricing themselves out of the other so called Big Bat unless they are jettisoning one of the bad contracts they have. You mentioned the other reason they would not, they basically have 4 of their starters right now and there is the fight for one last spot and it will leave a bunch of Lefties available for the bullpen and with this new let's not get a FA mode they are in, it would fit that they would use someone internally. I thought you might mention today that Colorado made Boston the only team in MLB this off season not to have spent any $ on a FA. I am really hoping it is because they have an idea of what the new CBA is going to be with a cap and are prepping for that now. thanks for the update on those pitchers.

6. If I were these guys, I would run. Once you get into the Sox pitching program they'll ruin you or get you injured. Pivetta, Keller, Kelly, Priester, Buehler, May, Hendriks, Hicks, Houk, Crawford

7. What would you think about the Sox picking up Max Scherzer? Veteran presence, spot starter, long man, set up, etc… 5 pitches and cheap. Could be a valuable mentor.

9. It's to soon to tell but I've been thinking Tolle could be a left handed reliever. Obviously not much experience but anything is possible. It's also just as possible Tolle starts the season in Worcester. It's also very possible they bring in a free agent. Hopefully they'll get something done soon as I've already stated I'm impatient 😂

10. LHP v RHP seems overrated. More bullpen help is not their greatest need; a #2 starter is. Their hopium-tainted view of Gray & the younger starters is more of the same. Boycott incoming.

18. Thanks for this report Corbin. I agree with your assessment of Breslow in evaluating pitchers. They need a good left handed reliever- pitchers and catchers in about a month!

19. They definitely need another lefty they way bullpens are used in today's game you need two (closers don't count toward this) that said Coulumbe would be the obvious choice but I wouldn't be against getting both Coulumbe and Mayza and leaving Moran in AAA as insurance against an injury

20. Belichek would focus on defense and not worry so much about the offense. Breslow focuses on pitching and doesn't seem to worry so much about offense. Lol I guess Defense wins 🏆
