  1. He isn't even the main question mark. The main question mark – as it ever was for the Seahawks – is the offensive line.

You know what you're going to get from Sam if the offensive line plays well, and what you're going to get if it can't protect him and give him time and their running backs space to keep the offense ahead of the sticks. They are the variable here.

  2. Its so hard to shake narratives in this league. Sam Darnold has proven he can play. He isnt the only qb ever to have a one and done in the playoffs. Stafford threw 3 picks against Atlanta and no one talks about that. There are a lot of teams that would love a 14-3 QB.

  3. Lamar Jackson’s playoff stats so far in his career: 13 total touchdowns, 11 turnovers. 8 games played with a 3-5 record and there’s no narrative around his ability to “get it done.” If you actually watch the Seahawks games you’ll see that a lot of these turnovers aren’t his fault and this narrative is lazy

  4. Definitely hoping lightning strikes twice and the Panthers knock out the Rams again haha. That said, it would be much more satisfying to beat the Rams in the NFC Championship game. No risk, no reward.

  5. With all due respect to Sherm, Seattle looks like a team that is chomping at the bit to play the Rams again. They've got a lot of faith in themselves. As a fan, however, the Rams worry me more than any other team.

  6. Darnold can play! What is the matter with all of these experts that are trying to take it apart and make it something? It isn't. The dude is a quarterback in the NFL. He's very good at what he does. He wouldn't be here if he wasn't. Give me a break!

  7. We need to beat the NFL narrative. I see the league trying to put one last ring on Aaron Rodgers' finger. Beat teams and never take your foot off the gas. So what if it's a blowout

  8. Despite all the talk about Sam and his turnovers, if they tipped a pass in the endzone in week 1 vs SF, if they held off Tampa in the final minute, and if they make one more field goal vs the Rams the first time, they are 16-1 or 17-0. At that point yeah, turnovers need to be cleaned up, but even in their losses, the turnovers wasn't the issue. It was 9 points total in the season. But it is hard to shake narratives in the NFL. We need SOMETHING to talk about with each team I suppose, fair enough!
