1. There's no way Mahomes said this. He loves Reid and the success they've had together. There's no reason to say they can't go on another similar run. If Reid retired this year then I'd believe he may want out the following year, depending on the new HC.

7. Who could honestly blame Patrick if he did say this? His dissatisfaction with the play calling has been written all over his face for two seasons, but especially this last one. The coaching, refusal to make much needed changes and leaving Pat out there on a island game in and game out has been embarrassing. Andy’s “good old boy” club has final come to a head with the players. If Andy doesn’t bring in a “qualified” O.C. with a fresh new approach to the offense and Pat, I wouldn’t blame him if he did ask for a trade. If anything has been proven the last few years is that without Pat, none of those teams likely would have even sniffed anything past the first round of playoffs.

11. “One down year”? Come on Cole, they didn’t have any business making it to the S.B. last year with that offense. If not for Butker last year, they would have lost many more games. As a matter of fact, It’s been Butker and Mahomes that have carried the Chiefs through all of their playoff runs and S.B. wins. It hasn’t been “one down year”, it’s been a steady and sharp decline in offensive production that eventually led to the best generational QB jacking up his knee. Bad play calling and scheme has made Pat run “WAY” more than he ever should have. It hasn’t been one year but multiple years of decline with Nagy and Reid.
