  2. Am I the only fan that want to give Ryan Ward the Left Field job? The dude bats left, hit 31 doubles, 6 triples, 36 HRS, 122 RBIs, and an OPS.844. Those are similar to Michael Busch numbers in his last year in AAA. Give him the confidence he has the Job until All Star Break and if does not work out fix it at the August deadline. The free agency pool year to jump in with both feet is 2028. 2026 free agency is a toe test at best.

  12. Clint's lack of baseball IQ continues to bother me. In the other podcast, he readily offered up Emmet Sheehan in a deal for rental Freddy Peralta before his colleagues had to point out the obvious stupidity in that. Now he's saying Cody Bellinger is somehow worth $400 million and that the Dodgers would actually consider paying that for him right now is beyond ridiculous. Alanna had to shoot that down and he came back with well, he was worth it back in the day, which in hindsight, he clearly actually wasn't! He then doubles down on the myopic idiocy by saying that the Dodgers would pay $400 million for Kyle Tucker just because there's scuttlebutt linking the Dodgers to Tucker while entirely missing the point of why they're linked now. Other teams are finally wising up and following the Dodgers' lead by being more selective to give out the big-money, long-term contracts and this homer thinks it's actually possible that the Dodgers would go against their winning strategy in waiting for the best opportunities?! It's bad enough to have the peanut gallery spout this crap on social media but to hear it on a podcast with clearly intelligent co-hosts brings down the quality of the discussions. Is this some sort of sad, pathetic Vaudeville act where he plays the fool to the straight man in a stand-up routine?

    Seems to be that the Elephant in the room is that expiring CBA (01Dec2026) causing all these clubs to curb contracts…for hopeful Free Agents looking for those 6-10 year deals.

    You guys hit it on the money with Bo…except #NOBO….he wants SS money then he is headed to San Fran for a 120/4 yr deal…Dodgers only got money like that for Tucker as a free agent with opt outs. Trade assets to Woo old club for Donovan to shore up the holes due to injuries.
