Mets 2026 Outlook With SNY’s Dexter Henry | Stearns, Cohen & the Young Mets

I’m joined WITH Dexter Henry (SNY, NY Post Digital) for an in-depth conversation on the New York Mets’ offseason and where the organization stands heading toward 2026. We discuss whether the Mets are closer to contention than many fans believe, where the roster still needs help — including the need for one more impact bat — and why internal development could play a bigger role than expected.

  1. Good interview Tony. Sports talk on television is pretty much dead at this point, and radio is starting to fizzle out as well. Content Creators and Podcasts are the future in sports talk and you're doing a great job! Keep it up 👍

  2. Mets should offer Bellinger 3 years for 100. 35 for the first two years than an opt-out after the second year or he picks it up for 30! That's very high but I think he would sign that. Then you could still have the young guys.
