Would he mesh with Mike Mac though?
McDaniel could actually be a great OC for us if it came down to that, because he’s unlikely to get hired for an HC job again any time soon after how it went in Miami. Still hoping we keep Kubiak, but that’s a factor here
McDaniel gotta love our situation, right? I hope John gave him a quick text to wait for us. Best defense in the league that will give his offense plenty of opportunity to score points and pad his resume tenfold

Just imagine what he can do in year 2. Now that’s a nightmare for the rest of the league.
I was hoping earlier today that this could be an actual scenario. This would be insane. A Mike on Offense and Defense.
I really can’t imagine Mike and Mike vibing at all.
Schematically McDaniel is brilliant. The only question for me is the cultural fit.
I think McDaniel would be a great hire but worry about his non-football fit with McDonald.
McDonald is no nonsense and McDaniel is full of nonsense. Maybe it works I think he’s a good football mind, but he’d have to tone it down a bit imo
Does he want to run the ball a ton? If not, I don’t think he’d be a target.
I’d much rather just get to keep Klint (as increasingly unlikely as that seems).

The real question is will Kubiak leave in time for McDaniel to come to us? I feel like he is going to get picked up somewhere.

Am I the only one that is bothered by how McDaniel handled the Tua concussion situations?… I want good football coaches, but it sure makes it more fun when I also feel like they are morally/ethically good people.
You gotta hire the best candidate. At the same time, it would be rough to hire McDaniel and have him also leave after 1 year. Getting 2-3 year continuity would be nice.
I don’t think his Capri pants are very Seahawky.
Dave Lombardi is a troll.
I think MM is going to get another head coaching position, there are too many available and he showed some promise + has charisma.
Would Jake Peetz or any of Kubiak staff make sense for our next OC?

Yes. I really want him to stay and see what he can evolve an offense into over time. Let Mike McDaniels go to Atlanta with those weapons
Here is my scenario: Saleh gets the Ravens job, Harbaugh takes the Dolphins, Stefanski takes Giants, and McDaniel takes the Falcons.
From this Klint realizes that he should the Ben Johnson route to beef up his resume to get the good HC jobs, and enters the next season even more motivated.
