16. Just watched Lafreniere flush a four minute power play down the drain. The guy flat out is a lazy no talent waste of time. Get rid of this worthless bum. There is no way this team is going to make the playoffs and that was true even before they lost shesty and fox. I don’t see any hope for the future years at all. How depressing.

17. I was criticized for saying that if the Sabres make the playoffs, they will have a rude awakening when they face starting goalies. In that video it was against Dallas. My thoughts are still the same. I’m not saying Quick isn’t a GOAT but a 10 game winning streak against backups is interesting to me. I know Jake & Igor aren’t having great seasons but in a 7 game series, Buffalo isn’t good enough to beat these goalies night in & night out. Just my thoughts. I watch all these highlights every night so we shall see.

18. I was at the Sabres home opener this year against the Rangers. Our fans ruthlessly booed Samuelson when he skated out during introductions and I thought it was awful. Defensemen can take time and glad to see him earning his respect. That was one hell of a closer.

19. Man, MSG is pretty quiet nowadays. Used to be known as a loud rink even when the Rangers were lousy.

20. Blindie McBlinderson failed to get the comment right that Mika took a shot to the ankle from Norris when he was actually 'trying' to send the puck up the boards, subsequently leading to the first Sabres goal. Instead, he sent it right up the middle of Wrong Street.
