  1. Pro-tip: Don’t punch your tv if we lose. We’re not that kind of embarrassing fanbase. We’re the “it’s so over”, “we’re so back”, bois.

  2. I think the run game is gonna be back to Eagles form with Rome back. He’s such a good piece for it.

Cut out the drops and we might hang 40 on them and dominate TOP.

  3. My Hoosiers just put the belt to one green and gold (yellow) team. Time for round 2 tomorrow night.

  4. Twas the night before gameday, all through the Chi, Not a fan was asleep nah, not you or I. The jerseys were laid out, stitched navy and orange, waiting for jahdae walker through the end zones he soars.

  5. This has been one hell of a fun ride as a decades long die hard fan. I’m not ready for this fun to end!

    🐻⬇️

  6. Does anybody know which bars will be showing the game tomorrow downtown like around the Loop?

  7. My dad was a massive Chicago Bears fan—I’m talking, he rewatched the 1985 season multiple times on YouTube—and he passed away today after suffering a stroke. I know we’re going to win for him tomorrow. Bear Down!!!!

  8. I feel like im gonna puke already. Im so nervous. Im gonna be a mess tomorrow night 🐻⬇️

  9. Fully healthy us at home vs that injury riddled team. yeah we got em right where we want em

  10. I’m so scared I haven’t been hungry all day and I know I won’t be tommorow, I love this football team way to much lmao

  11. Anyone keep seeing Packers fans coping about last time we met? I love how they try to spin their collapse as luck by the Bears. You guys got that lucky onside kick? That’s not luck, you guys didn’t execute. Like how we didn’t execute on that final play vs. you guys in the first game. It’s not luck, execution is kind of important. Execution isn’t an excuse.

I just saw an article on a Packers website (it was suggested) and it mentioned Clay Matthews saying “what were all thinking” that the Bears peaked. Losses to the 49ers and Lions means we peaked? Then what does 4 (more like 3 since they rested their starters) straight losses mean?

Genuinely funny.. and I think this is a 50/50 game.. could go either way.

  12. All the worry about this game is not a good sign. Teams that are great and destined wouldn’t cause this. We are also -1.5 dogs. Sadly I remember the 85 Bears and that team had the mental and physical dominance and we knew before the playoffs started we would win the Superbowl.
That said, everyone needs to relax and enjoy the game tomorrow. It’ll probably be a close game again and the Bears can pull this off. Lots of encouragement for the future, especially given the 4th quarter comebacks which is a sign of a young and upcoming team.

  13. I know we talk about Caleb’s int on that last drive in game 1. But what it really was the missed tackles in Jacobs on 3rd down. We get one of those missed tackles and they are held to a FG. We were already in FG range on that interception throw. Most likely we go to overtime if we don’t miss that Josh Jacobs tackle.

  14. We have to win

I made a bet with a coworker that if the packers win I have to wear a packers blazer

If the bears win he has to wear my bears hat

  15. I just realized the Packers last win was against the Bears and the Bears last win was against the Packers.

  16. I’m an Oregon alumni and I don’t know if I can deal with more heartbreak this weekend. But nonetheless, I will be all in on the Bears tomorrow. Bear down!

  17. BEAR DOWN as a Chiefs fan. however, I did go to the bears/giants game earlier this year so am I really bandwagonning ??? I say nah

  18. Everywhere says it’s on at 7, but Amazon is promoting it as 7:30, I wonder which is true

  19. you only get so many chances to establish yourself in this league. windows don’t open forever. let’s pounce on these fuckers

  20. Nervous? Yes but not because of the Packers, really it’s about our offense.

Story of the season and going into this game is how we start. I have hope that we’ve really honed in on the details this week and will come out of the gates guns blazing (unless the weather ends up being too much).

I know the focus is on the defense, rightfully so, but really our defense has given us a chance to win, whether it be a timely stop or holding the opposing offense to low scoring. Offense HAS to capitalize on these opportunities, otherwise we’ll end up playing catch up which is not exactly the recipe for a sustained/deep run.

    BEAR DOWN

  21. Hoping Ben Johnson was wrong and that we’re gonna play our best football in January and February.

  22. National media will be surprised learning how much better our defense is going to look tmrw. The Kyler effect.

  23. I’m a little drunk rn but fuck I’m so excited. I fucking love how hyped this city gets when the Bears are good. I can’t believe we got a third game against the Pack coming up. FTP!

  24. Honest thoughts on this game? I mean, I don’t love this matchup. But it’s the playoffs, there aren’t going to be a lot of Cleveland Browns for us to beat up on in the wild card round.

In both games in the regular season, I felt like their defense was outscheming our offense.

Our offense thrives on two things:

    1) Beating the crap out of people with run-blocking

    2) Ben Johnson scheming up open receivers for Caleb Williams to hit with his extraordinary talent.

I didn’t feel like we were getting anywhere with either of those in either game. The Packers run defense is every bit as good as our run offense is. They hit hard and they swarm to the ball better than any team I’ve seen this season.

When we did get some scoring goal late in both games, it was mostly on Caleb Williams and the receivers winning on talent, not scheme. When we tried to get fancy with various misdirections and rigamaro, the Packers defense was *all* over it.

Later in the season, it felt like teams were catching on that we struggle with blitz pickup, and the Packers were definitely aware of it.

On defense, our plan all year has been to hope for turnovers, and if that doesn’t happen, hope to somehow get to third down and bring a blitz.

That’s not a great plan against the Packers, as Jordan Love excels against the blitz and has been fairly hard to intercept this season. And the Packers are perfectly capable of running those man-beating crossing routes that have been killing us.

But, sure, we’ve definitely got a chance. A solid chance. The talent on the offense is there to create touchdowns. The turnovers can happen at any time. Get a couple of either and you’re rolling.

  25. I can’t handle cubs losing to the brewers in the playoffs AND bears losing to the packers. Please don’t disappoint us bears.
