id like it a lot, I think Tua sucks and their roster had an insane amount of holes
Honestly best case hire for me. I’m a big McDaniel fan. I think he got a bad hand in Miami. I was rooting for him in Nashville even before he got fired, tbh.
We’d probably go 6-11 but at least his press conferences would be funny

Idk if he’s the “leader” they’re looking for, but he gained a lot of respect from me how he navigated the “lost the locker room” stuff after they started 1-6, and all of Tua’s weird possibly CTE-caused comments throughout the season. And then they turned it around to end 6-4 despite benching their QB. They were definitely still playing hard.
As for scheme stuff him and Cam would be fucking nuts.
Fuck the “culture setter” guys, put up points and win games. That along with the guys you draft and sign will build the culture you need. Winning. Him with Cam Ward would be fun as hell.
Go get Alex Pierce and Breece Hall, draft another WR 2nd round after helping the pass rush in the first. Get some DB’s.
Edit: The fact we jumped on interviewing him so quickly makes me think they have real interest and he could be top of their list…

As a Fins and Canes fan, if this happens Titans will be my second team to root for
He’s easily my top choice. Proven playcaller. Still young. Previous HC experience with a winning record. Would love to pair him with Cam. He had Tua playing like a MVP candidate. Imagine what he can do for our offense.

He’s honestly my second, only to Harbaugh and that’s probably not gonna happen.
Idk if Shanahan system would be best for Cam. Air Coryell according to Cosell would be ideal

My wife was incredibly sad for his firing and with her being a Fins fan. However, now she’s very hopeful he goes to the Titans since that’s my team, and I agree.
There is something about that guy that seems to keep things loose and interesting. His pressers and interviews are hilarious and you just never know what you’ll get.
Has Tua regressed? Yes. But we have also seen some “elite” moments from him and the offense under McDaniel.
My vote would be to “without force”, keep him in the building following his interview and make things happen. I like him a lot better than Harbaugh or most, if not all of the other candidates.
This has to happen. McDaniel + Ward = two football nerds who love the game more than anything else
In no particular order, the Top 3 choices would be Harbaugh, McDaniel and Stefanski. Any 3 of those I’d be ecstatic about

As a Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins fan, this hire would make me more excited to watch the Titans than Dolphins. McDaniels got a raw deal here and Cam is going to eat if this hire happens.
