  1. New theory, KD took the Hardest Road cause he knew GS had our number for years, and he’s still pissed at the Blazers for not picking him #1

Nice to crush his career night and make him crashout

  2. Despite Shaedon and Deni not shooting amazing they both made HUGE plays to get us back in the game. Toumani best game of the season. RipSidy was amazing. AND JABARI SMITH JR YOU ARE GETTING YOUR JERSEY HUNG IN THE RAFTERS TONIGHT KING!

  3. That win showed some real grit. Could have very easily gotten away from them at the beginning of the 4th and they started the comeback without Deni (not to mention all the injured players) on the floor.

  4. The comeback doesn’t happen without my king Duop “the great barrier Reath” Reath 😤

  5. What a fucking win. Hope RW is okay. Sidy is a DAWG

no recap today cus I was busy trying to fix my car and couldn’t type up the notes but let’s fucking go.

  6. can someone ask Tari Eason if the zebras made his team shoot bricks instead of basketballs today?

  7. Some Winning Thoughts

Tiago: After a dismal third quarter, his adjustments immediately paid off. Our bench players cut into the deficit, forcing Durant to check back in early.

Tou: Needless to say, he’s putting up points efficiently while taking on the task of guarding Durant.

DC: The Rockets’ rebounding ability is among the league’s best, and obviously, DC is no slouch either.

Sidy: You can’t ask for more from him—he’ll throw himself out there with 100% commitment. edit:4/4? holy!

Deni: The Rockets kept targeting him, but he still played terrifically after a brief spell of trouble. One of the hallmarks of a superstar is not flinching an inch when facing double teams.

Shae and Caleb: The best part is watching them get more mature every single day, acting more and more like seasoned vets. The expectations we have for Shae are gradually being met.

Duop: He knocked down his first three-pointer of the day, and after being sidelined for a long time, he was able to immediately showcase such a valuable skill—and all I can say is it’s absolutely terrific.

Hansen: In both matchups against the Rockets, his assignment was crystal clear—battle it out with their starting center. He played a better game last time, but it goes without saying the Rockets are quick to adjust, and he took a lot of lumps this time around. I don’t expect him to get the better of Adams twice; that’s obviously impossible. Hopefully he keeps getting better game by game.

RW3: To be honest, his availability has been much better than before. Hope he’s okay—he can do a lot for this team.

Rupert: He didn’t have a great game scoring, but it’s fine. He notched one steal and two assists, and he also chipped in on the defensive end.

  8. With only 9 healthy bodies, we beat the Houston twice!! That is all we need to remember.

Deni is an all star. The best thing is every player put in great effort and contribute.

Hansen got some good runs against a team with elite big men. Yay

  9. Our defense was ramping up all second half. They went on a run in the third but it was good defensive pressure that completely swallowed them in the 4th. Such a fun comeback on our team defense (and some bad bad shooting by the Rockets).

Deni is a star and plays with energy. Dove on the floor twice in the last few minutes to secure a tough defensive rebound. So good.

  10. Idc if we’re still a game below .500 this team has arrived. The Rockets did NOT want to lose to the same team twice in a row, they went 120% on the gameplan, sold out hard to shut down Deni, probably played the most physical defense we will see all season and the refs let them manhandle us for almost the entire 2nd half. Blazers still came out on top and refused to lose with a huge 4th quarter run. Playoffs incoming

  11. The highest scorer on the team being Sabertouth with 25 was not on my bingo card.

Sidy with +28 is unreal. Dude’s basically Jrue.0

  12. You gotta give major props to our second unit

Love, Duop, Hansen, Rupert… the next man up mentality of this squad is electric and got us back in the game when we needed it the most tonight.

  13. I know single-game box +/- is not a super useful stat, but Sidy was just +28 in a 6 point win.

  14. Spurs fan here. So so so happy Cidy seems to be able to find a home with you guys.

He was unplayable for us the first 2 years and mentioned he didn’t have the best mental moving to a new country and assimilating into the G. However, his motor was always there just not with us. So him being able to fit into your team’s gritty and physical culture I’m so happy for him and you guys!

Also hope Wesley comes back soon cause he started out great and brought that same grittiness that aligns with what you guys are currently building. Excited for what you guys’ future with Dame coming back and the continued improvements to Shaedon, DC, Toumani, etc.

  15. Wow. After we went completely flat at the end of the third I thought there was no way. I feel like that was equal parts Houston choke and fully mental shift from our crew

  16. My main takeaway is that they just faced a team who caused Shae and Deni to struggle for large periods of that game, but both led runs that kept things afloat. That’s kinda massive IMO.

Tou when he’s having a night like tonight makes you dream a little bigger.

Sidy is such a great ‘around the fringes’ glue guy. Not sure he’ll ever impress in the box score consistently but he does stuff to help the team win.

  17. Don’t forget Deni’s clutch steal on Amen’s fast break. A perfectly clean pocket picking!!!

He just knows how to help the team when he didn’t score well, a sign of the true superstar

  18. Dunno if it was on the broadcast but Tiago was fuckin pumped after the game. He was fists up screaming at the crowd on his way into the tunnel

  19. Yang’s trash on offense, but he’s holding his own on D, banging with the other team’s starting bigs. Dude’s pulling 10‑plus minute shifts and still having a ok plus‑minus. That’s exactly what you want from a rotation center—save juice for DC. Tiago’s rolling with him even after that rough first run.
