ESPN’s Dan Graziano on what to expect from the George Pickens saga: “This may grab as many headlines as any free agent situation in the league, mainly because it’s the Cowboys. Pickens has been spectacular for Dallas since the team acquired him in a trade with Pittsburgh, catching 93 balls for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. He comes with concerns due to some of the effort and concentration issues he had with the Steelers, even though those haven’t shown up in Dallas. Based on everything I’ve heard, the franchise tag is the likely option here.”
Todd Archer has HINTED that the Cowboys might spend more in NFL Free Agency: “The Cowboys will never be big spenders in free agency, but they have to do more than just nibble around the edges, especially defensively. Finding a high-end pass rusher and cornerback is difficult in free agency, but they can do more at linebacker and safety. There have been more questions than answers in recent drafts, so they need a more proactive approach to free agency.”

We are good at dt and lb, need to focus on de, safety, and corner
In my opinion, if you put this much into a line, you need the corners/safeties to match that potential. LB’s can be highly specialized in their role but they don’t have to be the weight of the $. I think with a base D, the line is pretty much set. The LBs can be fresh. The corners and safeties have to be aware and able. I always go back to the 2000 Bucs.

Other than Pickens, they need to resign javonte Williams and bring in another RB to pair with him. Blue didn't show much outside of the lsat game. Defense should definitely be the main priority tho
