BREAKING 🚨: This Game Just CHANGED EVERYTHING For The Raiders #1 Overall Pick 👀

This game just changed everything for the Las Vegas Raiders and the 2026 NFL Draft.

In the College Football Playoff semifinal between Indiana and Oregon, the Indiana Hoosiers absolutely dominated — and quarterback Fernando Mendoza put on a statement performance. Mendoza went 17-of-20, threw five touchdown passes, and didn’t turn the ball over once, completely controlling the game from start to finish.

On the other side, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore struggled, and that performance raises real questions about his draft trajectory. If Moore decides not to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, it could dramatically shift the quarterback landscape at the top of the draft.

With the Raiders holding the number one overall pick, this result only increases the value of that selection. Whether it’s drafting a franchise quarterback like Mendoza, trading down for a massive haul, or reshaping the roster entirely, this game may have just opened up even more options for the Raiders’ future.

In this video, I break down:
• Fernando Mendoza’s dominant performance
• Dante Moore’s struggles and what they mean for his draft decision
• How this game impacts the Raiders’ No. 1 overall pick
• Why the value of that pick just went up

Let me know your thoughts — did Mendoza just lock himself in as the top QB prospect? And what should the Raiders do now?

  1. I think he'll go back to school. He seems like a hungry lion. I think he wants redemption after tonight's game. I agree with you. It makes no sense to draft that hi only to sit him. Who'll start for us? Geno again. Hell no!!! We'll end up exactly where we are now

  2. I've been watching Mendoza all year and I don't know how anyone had Moore over him but he's been my pick since the Ohio St game. That was my game to know if the Raiders get the Number 1, he's the guy to draft

  3. There is a side of me that feel like Mendoza can look good right now, but can still have that side where he can flop to being a bad NFL qb. Just because things are crystal nice and sparkly, and being a Raiders fan for a long time. There is Raiders thing that potentially don't plan out our ways. Take Derek Carr era for instance, we were normally 8 -8.

  4. Mendoza is ready. The raiders can’t mess this up. Even if he busts out I can live with it. As long as we get an offensive minded coach. 🏴‍☠️

  5. I'm telling you. We're going to get Harbaugh. We are 2nd in cap space at like $110M. We have A LOT of things in our favor. People keep talking about Kubiak. He had to leave the league twice because of health problems and hasn't been a head coach since pre-Covid, only doing executive jobs. That's not the guy for a long term rebuild. I'm a Raiders fan of 50 years and I'm telling you this is happening! If I'm wrong I'll donate my brand new Woodson jersey, and I love that jersey. I keep my word. Harbaugh's will play each other twice a year and live 4 hrs away. I'm a man of hope and he's joining Raider Nation! 💯

  6. IF ANYBODY HAD ANY DOUBTS ABOUT MENDOZA BEING THE RAIDERS NEXT QB HAS TO BE A COMPLETE IDIOT. MENDOZA IS DA MAN 💯🏈

NOW ALL NEED IS THE RIGHT HC LIKE KUBIAK TO FURTHER DEVELOP HIM ON THE PATH TO WIN A SUPERBOWL

  7. I dont care how many first round they throw at us. Mendoza studies and bleeds the game of football. You probably won't find another player like this for another 20 years. This kid is special and really reminds me of brady. I say 5x championship when his career is over

  8. WHEW!! Are you FnN Kidden me this kid comes out of the box throwing spirals like nobody knows this was my who I'm taking #1 and this FN dude Got an A on the test. UNFREAKENBELIVABLE

  9. Like people come up with the most stupidest arguments just because you take somebody first doesn't mean you can't sit them back as a matter of fact the best quarterbacks to last long setback for a year Tom Brady Aaron Rodgers I'll even go back further young who played for the niners I mean you can look up all the quarterbacks who sat back for a year and they have done 10 times better than the quarterbacks that come out the first year like are we that childish that we can't just wait another year to get a better team than to throw out somebody out there and then you will be the same hypocrites that will call them trash

  10. Even Tom Brady has come out and said you should sit a quarterback for a year doesn't matter what place they come out with just because you see somebody come out first doesn't make them Superman they still need to progress in the next level so why don't you guys calm your stupid childish ass down and let professional be professionals

  11. Not according to Hondo he says the Raiders are open to everything with this pick they have 3 offensive linemen graded with 1st round grades …… oh boy haven't had a great qb in decades !

  12. Trust me, inspite of that lackluster performance last night, the Jets will still take him (Moore), at #2, if he decides to come out, that is. Personally, I think he should not declare this year, and return to school. Now, as far as Mendoza is concerned, everyone and their grandmother knows that he belongs in a Raiders uniform, we then can finally recover from that horrendous 2007, draft pick (Jamarcus Russell), when we clearly, should've taken, Calvin Johnson!

  13. Raiders haven’t been in position to draft a top QB in AGES! Draft picks don’t matter in today’s NFL unless you have an elite QB. Take Mendoza and don’t think twice! Don’t screw this up Raiders!
