What happen to Barnes threes we jinx him saying Mr 100
I feel like we're going to end up making a move for a "Francisco Elson" kind of guy. I don't mean a player like him skill-wise, I more mean a player that people will be like, "wait, who? Never heard of him." But then he'll get on the court and end up being a productive member of our rotation. Maybe not a starter. Almost certainly not a star. But a productive cog that makes us better.
Trade for Bobby Portis. He is the perfect addition to the team.
What about klay???
So much for hoping we trade Devin for some good pieces. Before the Devin fanboys come for me I ain't a Devin hater just not a fan of his large contract and he's injured again. I was hoping we could still sell high on him because don't want to have to let him go like Atlanta with Tre. If they would have sold him two year's earlier SMH. I fear we on the same path with Devin.
Why would the Grizzlies want to trade Jaylen Wells? Seriously, why?
A young rotational player on a dirt-cheap multi-year deal is kind of the dream. He played in 79 games last season and he's played in all 37 games so far this season for Memphis (and started in them all except five across both years). He's got to be one of the best value-contracts in the entire league, making 7M across the next three seasons. He's on an even better contract than Julian Champagnie. He also just finished 3rd in ROY voting last year despite being the 42nd pick.
Seriously, where's the downside with this guy? Why does anybody think he's on the block?
Sure, in order to facilitate a significant trade I could see Memphis let him go. But why trade him for the peanuts we'd likely be offering? This just feels like some Bleacher Report nonsense that somebody dreamed up with no basis in reality.
Portis from Milwaukee shoots 47 percent
can you tell me which website you get those advanced profiles from please?

Someone like a tari eason, topin is all we need.
I bet you we not gonna make any trade until the deadline. Unfortunatly
As a spurs fan i disagree with your assessment. we need a seasoned big man who want a championship

Just like weāre looking for a consistent shooting we do need to play better defense and rebound better and I think Jeremy Sohan fits that and with playing time and reps heāll be able to be more consistent shooter. Unfortunately if Barnes is not hitting the corner shot, he isnāt very valuable and we also have been playing a few weeks without Devon Vassell are most consistent shooter so I donāt know that we need to overreact.
What about a 7 footer, who can shoot, who is currently on a Jazz team that needs to rebuildā¦
Brian Wright works under RC BUFORD the head GM fromje start of the Spurs dynasty.brain Wright drafted Josh Primo the biggest fucking BUST in NBA and Spurs history
RC BUFORD went on scouting trip to Europe saw a very young Wemby, then traded off Spurs best players on the hunch of Spurs luck mainly winning the Tim Duncan sweepstakes and it all came to past RC BUFORD is God acting as Spurs GM by winning Wemby sweepstakes
Story is online . This will be RC BUFORD second DYNASTY THANK GOD
Paschal and nesmith from pacers
I have absolute faith in God to make correct decisions Castle, Harper, Johnson…
Wemby is not the best draft pick since LeBron James it's Tim Duncan
Ronald Harper Junior playing for the Boston Celtics G league can shoot lights out from the perimeter from the three you probably can get him for free. I would say look to him.
And what about James Wiseman? Heās out there on nobody team Shirley. We can use another big man as a back up to our big man.
Grizzlies having a fire sale?
I still want the Pels Trey Murphy III for Vassell (HURT AGAIN) and salary match bench players named Olynyk and/or Barnes. Vassell's minutes go to the cheaper Julian Champagnie and Carter Bryant.
Need a PF. Sochan needs to play with Wemby b/c JS is an Enforcer.
Jaylen Wells is on my fantasy team, he's a terrible shooter, trust me.
N. I feel like from what Sochan has said he wants to stay and heās being given a chance to prove he should, and a trade will only happen if he doesnāt. If thatās the case, Iād bet on him being determined enough to do that.
@ScoutBot-3 [AI Generated Analysis]
Jaylen Wells is the perfect missing piece for the Spurs. š¤š Check his recent 12-game tear:
16.3 PPG (Season average: 12.4)
Elite shooting: 55% FG / 52% 3PT over his last 10 games.
Just dropped 23 points on the Lakers on Jan 4th.
The Fit: San Antonio is #2 in the West but ranked 17th in 3P%. They need a "3-and-D" wing to space the floor for Wemby and De'Aaron Fox. Wells provides that elite gravity and perimeter defense immediately.
Trade Scenario: With Jeremy Sochan recently falling out of the rotation and Wellsā high value on a team-friendly contract ($1.9M), a deal centered around Sochan + a protected 1st round pick for Wells could be a win-win.
No spurs won't trade

Our Spurs have done better than most expected by not pushing the panic button, and staying with the players they have. Our team is currently SECOND IN THE WEST! So why are we whining and complaining about weaknesses?
Iāve never seen that guy from Memphis have a good game. Heās like our Bryant
We dont have to look elsewhere. Just need to play DJGarcia!!
JAYLEN WELLS is shooting .335 from 3pt range. That puts him BELOW TEN OF THE SPURS PLAYERS in 3pt shooting %. Do the spurs really need another defensive wing who can't shoot from deep (We already have CB, and Castle (a 2-3) and Sochan (a 3-4)? Highsmith is 6'5", so he's guard size or smaller wing… There are true stretch-4s on rookie contracts that can shoot 37% or above, who could be had for a box of crackers, and who could bang the boards and defend the rim — any one of them would fit a true need, unlike these guys.
We need a PF with size 6'9 minimum and 3pts shoot. I love Clowney from Nets. Even if he needs to improve he has it all and he s cheap. Get some young talent. We ll fight as contenders next year without a doubt.
jw is inefficient and yet you dont know why the memohis would trade him? sheesh goo thing youre not a gm of the spursš
I like the idea for going for a small impact player at the forward and maybe even a 2 guard / small ball 3 such as keon ellis, which I think you mentioned is currrently up for the price of a first round pick?
Trade Vassel, Sochan and Champagnie or Barnes (one of this two player must stay in the roster) for a big man playmaker (Derrick Queen or Kakeb Weir…) so Wemby will take lot of threes and a 4 tall, physical and consistent at 3 points shooting (Trey Murphy III, Herb Jones… Or other).
If Trey Murphy is unavailable or for cost to much… I would like a trade for Clowney, a young player to develop that correspond to what we need. We re not contender with this but for a Sochan that does not play i would like Spurs to do spursy moves
Not necessarily a fan of the Spurs going after Highsmith; he's more of a 2-3 wing player, and the Spurs need a bigger wing more than that.
Wells is interesting. The Grizzlies are going to want to rake the Spurs over the coals on a trade, though.
Ideally, Sochan would keep shooting and Carter Bryant would earn more minutes to fulfill those depth options.
….. Mobile Big or Big wings!…..
oh I like Highsmith too, he's a great defender with his giant arm (he's 6'5" without shoes but 7' wingspan)
He's pretty limited on offense outside of shooting the ball, but Spurs need 3nD player like him or Ellis.
Jaylen Wells is a negative defender…. Don't want him.
How is Highsmith different/better than Lindy Waters?
We are a win now team as long as we have Wemby.
