  1. Dodgers and Mets apparently going all in on Tucker as well. Both have the money and down here in Vegas, where I currently work, they appear to be the favorites. Hopefully Jays can pull this off.

  2. I'm happy either way, Tucker or no Tucker. I like the team a lot, and I still have some faith that we could see a resurgent Santander this year to boost the offense. The outfield as it stands is pretty darn good. Would I love to have Tucker on the team? For sure! But I won't be angry if we miss out.
Bichette? Hard to get a read on that one. I think it's easier to squeeze him back in – with Ernie being a super sub – keeping the team largely intact. Of course I don't think the Jays are anywhere near interested in bringing him back, if his asking price of 300 million, has any ring of truth to it.
Either/or….pretty comfortable at where the team sits right now.

  3. The Mets the Tucker is heating up… Robert Murray again said it yesterday and he said there’s some wrinkles in the Tucker market, but he can’t confirm them so he doesn’t want to report it, what could those wrinkles be? While a wrinkle is a change and the Blue Jays were the favorite forever so makes you wonder tucker to the Mets has been building momentum for over a month. The Mets have a lot of links to Tucker. We have his hitting coach from the Astros…. David Stearns was the assistant general manager when he was drafted the head of scouting was there when he was there Carlos Beltrán, who was in our front office was his teammate 4:40 u left out the part right b4 they were talking about the Mets and he was talking about how the Mets interest is real… you’re not gonna believe me. I understand it. I’m not even confirming it. It’s just what I was told from someone who has a source that the Mets and Tucker met on Thursday. I don’t know if it’s true. I know you’re not gonna believe me that’s fine. I like I said I’m not even confirming. I don’t know if it’s true. It’s just what I heard.

  4. Sign somebody who truly wants to be in Toronto. Let the grifters go elsewhere. To be a winner, the team comes first. Learn from the newly signed Okamoto, a classy player.

  5. This is how I expect the signings to fall.
Tucker -Dodgers 3-4Year. 50M per with significant Defferrals.
Bichette- Phillies 6-7 Year 22-24M per With player options after year 4 or 5
Bellinger- Blue Jays – 6 year 34M per 204M total.
    Bregman – Cubs – 6 years 31M per with Opt outs/player options.
Eugenio Suarez- Yankees – no idea term/price.
    Red Sox _ Luis Arraez

That is how I expect the top free agents to fall.
