My dad has the ticket stub from this game somewhere. At the Coliseum, they would rip the ticket in half. But this game must have been special because the ticket is intact.
Ha! The “Wally Harris” comment. Oh my goodness, this is bringing back some serious memories!
We had two sets of seats at the Coliseum: Section 205 Row K Seats 13-14 and Section 301 Row D Sears 9-10.
Had to be the 1970s. I was little and my dad was lacing into Wally Harris one night. My dad was not “that guy” but this night he just laced into Harris. Dad wouldn’t let up. There was a faceoff in 205 and my dad is ranting at Harris. Al the dentist who sat in front of us, turned around and said, “Art, that’s Wicks!” Without missing a beat, dad yelled out, “Wicks your so bad I thought you were Wally Harris!” The Referee turned around and looked up, Bobby Nystrom looks up, chuckled and shook his head.
Man, what a great 46-47 year old memory. Thanks…

This article points out Gordie Lane being on the team. Isles didn’t acquire Lane until December ’79 (after Potvin went down for half the season). Could this be later like ’80 or ’81?
