I’m just tired of having 3/4 of our forwards be grinders looking to forecheck on the dump and chase.
For fuck sake, let them carry the puck and maintain possession into the offensive zone.
Injuries happen, so we can’t blame that’s but our system does not set the team up for success.
Dean and the staff suck. Boone sucks as a captain. Make some changes
After last season, I’ve wanted to give Dean the benefit of the doubt. I held out as long as I could but now I’ve officially move to the “Dean is most of the problem” camp now. Something needs to change, whether it is his coaching philosophy or bringing in a new coach.
I think the roster makeup has serious issues. Our 4th line is a complete waste. Our 3rd line is forced to play defense almost entire games. So all scoring is up to the top 2 lines, which are choppy at best
Remember last year we had complete lines 1-4 that could all score. We were getting production from all 4 lines and could play all four lines in all situations
He needs to go.
We’ll probably see him and other coaches get shitcanned after we get torn apart 6-0 tomorrow.
they should try the a losing the led approach
the author lost me at “There is too much talent, and too much depth…”.
Are we sure there is that much talent and depth on this team?
Some solid points. Ultimately for me, where is the sense of urgency from the players or the coaches? Maybe it’s there and we don’t see it. But as another season is heading the wrong way, fans would love to see some efforts to right the ship.
I think (and hope) the coaching staff gets torn down if we lose out on this road trip. Nails are pretty much already in the coffin for the season. We would need to pretty much win 75% of the remaining games this season, which isn’t happening.
It’s been pretty obviously failing and there hasn’t been any urgency on display, which is very upsetting.
I’m really glad I decided to tune out after that frickin’ Penguins game.
Miss the conditioning Torts insisted on. Consistently able to play 60+ minutes at full go and game after game.
Please just fire him already. The entire coaching staff. Why do we have Boll coaching, he was never a good player why does he think he can coach. Just because you love the city doesn’t mean you should automatically get a job with the team
