  1. Rangers goalie gets snowed, fakes injury.
    Or
Rangers goalie gets snowed, lack of strength and conditioning gets exposed.
    Or
Sean Avery curse is still active, and rightfully so, it acted upon itself. This is a high-school type injury or someone who should consider retirement for health sake.. or be traded to a team that actually has a chance to get him a ring lol.

  2. Shesterkin is the biggest flopper in the NHL. Should’ve called him for diving or embellishment at the very least. wtf. He was barely touched and acted like he was shot with a 12 gauge.

  3. This is why you shouldn't jump the players optics. Hate to say this, they would have jumped Peterka and the next day would have seen the replay and all looked foolish.

  4. I played hockey growing up and twice I've injured my MCL (both knees). It is some of the sharpest pain I've ever felt. The worst part is that when you do come back to play you feel a lot of worry and fear every time you drop into a butterfly. I hope Igor gets excellent care and recovers fully.

  5. Weird thing is, it is his right leg that was folded under him and bent back, but it was his left leg he held up all the way to the locker room. Possible left hip injury ¯_ (ツ)_/¯

  6. That's really terrible for Shesterkin. But how in the hell does Quick have a 2.11GAA and 9.24 save% but only a 3-6-1 record??? I don't follow the Rangers close but that is insane.

  7. Just had my MCL explode on a cross-crease play last night so I know all too well how this feels. The loud pop of the ligament tearing apart tells you immediately how fucked you are. His athleticism is incredible so he may be back sooner, but even a grade 2 tear is going to take a minimum 6 weeks before you can start light on-ice work.

  8. Meh, a Russian, who cares. Many Russians die every day in the war because of Putin. And people pretend to care for this goalie hurting a leg? Give me a break

  9. This NHL/Bettman's fault. Because they changed regulations to allow opposing players in the crease in order to validate an ill gotten Stanley Cup win back in 2000. And this is the result where goalies are like sitting ducks who can be rammed into their own nets. This occurs much less frequently in International Hockey because the opposing players are not allowed in the crease.
