  1. No head coach should come with their own qb. It is not a decision of an individual. It is an organizational decision, especially in a place like Cleveland where qb has been a problem for a long time.

  2. The real problem in Cleveland is the 800-pound gorilla in the room: the owner. No sharp potential HC in his right mind is going to sign up for a gig under the thumb of "Mr. Pull The Trigger" Haslam. And the sad reality is that you can't fire the owner. That's just a fact, Browns fans.

  3. Agree with dungy. The coach needs to take command. Get rid of the fokery and circus. G bush get off Sanders nutz already. I hope the coach does what he wants with the QB room. Whoever he picks at QB he makes them earn it.

  4. OCs are in huge demand. Good DCs are relatively available. So savvy teams lock in an offensively leader for the long term, by giving him the HC job. Teams just can't hold talented OCs, they either leave for college, or get offered a HC job. I think Schwartz would be a good choice. I would like to hear his ideas on coordinators. I think Kevin's biggest weakness was his unwillingness to chance coordinators. Joe Woods was a prime example.

  5. I'm beginning to see I have a high football acumen. Andrew Berry, for all his Hahvahd pedigree, wouldn't know coaching talent if it smacked him I the face. How many super bowls do you think Curt Cignetti, that's right Indiana's Curt Cignetti, have in him? John Harbaugh has 1, that's right ONE in 18 years and everybody wants Harbaugh. Then you bring in Cignetti's Mendoza. I'm going to say at least 5. and that is why Cignetti would be
A shrewd move. He's younger, brilliant football IQ and obviously knows how to build a championship team. GE's Jack Welch said a great leader has to have the vision to see around corners. This is why the Browns are forever struggling. No vision. Cignetti would bring their first Super Bowl and first championship since 1964.
