9. Sign Kirk Cousins (if cut) or a Jacoby Brissett/Marcus Mariota and draft Carson Beck by either trading into the 3rd or waiting until the 4th round. BPA with all high picks

10. Do a bridge FA QB and pick 4 starters with your top picks (WR, DE, S, LB… in no particular order). QB next year.

11. It is better to know now than to pick Moore at 2 and have another Zack I was afraid prior that they would take him I’ve never seen it

15. This is what the world needed to see. Can’t be so locked in in somebody that has only started a single season. Trade DOWN, do a pick swap this year and secure the other teams first in 27’. It’s not like we’re gonna be a playoff contender next year so we’ll have a decent pick in the draft class full of Qbs

16. Matt, as you noted, you can't make a decision based on one game. Look what Moore did over the whole season. Sure, he didn't look great in the Peach Bowl, but how much of that poor performance was on him, or on his team. His defense hung him out to dry by looking like the Jets defense in the last 5 games. Its hard for aQB to look good when they are always behind big. And was the first fumble on Moore or on the running back not knowing his job? I'm not saying Moore is the second coming, but he demonstrated over the course of the season that he is a pretty darn good QB. I'll leave it to Mougey and Glenn to make the decision, as their jobs seemingly ride on it.

19. I don't see the huge issue, I agree I wanted them to both ball out. The first fumble imo not Moore's fault, so in my head he had 1 int, 1 fumble. We all knew he was a project and needed a red shirt year, to me nothing changed

25. If Moore declares, the scouts will have plenty of time to review game film for the entire year, and assess his pro day and work at the combines. All you all should chill; there are no guarantees when it comes to selecting QBs. I’m more concerned with who the Jets have as QB coach and OC; if they get that wrong, it won’t matter who we draft.

    Now it needs to happen with the Ty Simpson bandwagon, another delusion to expose.

27. Not sure draft strategy really matters. If Aaron Glenn is as poor a coach as it seems, given next year's schedule, the Jets will likely not win more than five games regardless of who is playing quarterback. He will then be fired, and the Jets will be in position to draft a quarterback, since there will be more than one worthy top of the first round options. I think the only question is whether Mougey stays when Glenn is fired. However you slice it, next year is yet another lost season. From the long term fan perspective, they should trade down this year and focus on adding as much talent to the roster as possible.

29. Jets need to offer Raiders this year's 2 first round picks, one of next year's picks and Hall. Whatever it takes to get that 1st pick

30. I think they don’t have to have an answer today. They still need to find out if Moore is coming out. They need to continue their evaluation of him if he does declare and look and evaluate all veteran options that will be available. Trade down or stick and pick whether Moore is there or not are still on the table. The day after is not the time to make definitive decisions when so much evaluation on all players still needs to be done

37. I totally agree with your take on Donte Moore.This game didnt hurt his draft stock. I also agree that if The Jets draft Donte Moore, they should sign a veteran qb to start and let Donte sit and learn. Dont rush him like they did with Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson

39. You stock up on talented players in this draft and pick a QB next year. Even BEFORE this I thought Moore was too inexperienced for the NFL….. Jets have had disasters with unready young QBs. Moore would chewed up & sit out with NYJ!!!

42. My only fear is Glenn our genius that thinks he is a great evaluator of talent gets to pick Moore. Cause Moore is not a good QB. Can he make nice throws here and there ? Yep absolutely but he sucks at QB. There is a difference.
