  1. Ten games in, I wouldn't have thought they could keep it up. It's almost halfway through the season, there is no reason we can't. And we still haven't seen Jalen.

  2. You forgot to mention their games with the Lakers, they've blown them out by over 20 points twice, being up by something like 30 entering the fourth each time before they rested their starters. Also worth nothing they did the same to the spurs in both of their meetings, both blow out wins despite Wemby playing. So they aren't just beating good teams, they're often dominating them. Further, a big chunk of the losses they do have came when either Booker was injured early in the year, or on the second night of a back to back, which aside from being difficult for everyone, is extra difficult since they always choose to rest their starting center in those games and there' a significant drop off between their back up center and their third stringer. So honestly their record is a bit of mirage in that you could argue they've been better then their record suggests. And of course that's before noting they still have only seen a single game of Green, if he plays anything like he did in that one game, consistently once he returns, he's going to be like getting a huge trade with out giving up anything in return.

That said… we don't REALLY know if Green will be an ugprade or if he's upset the chemistry, so the big question mark for me remains how will the team look when Green finally returns. Also, they live an die by Mark Williams health, they've done a fantastic job managing his use to this point, and its paid off with great health to this point, but the team is significantly worse if he does go down at some point. Still, if we assume healthy Williams, even with out Green I think this team can make some noise in the play offs. I don't think they're getting past a healthy nuggets or thunder in a 7 game series, but I also don't think they're getting sweeped by anyone, and if the Spurs knock out the Thunder before the Suns run into them, I do think the suns match up well against the Spurs such that there is a scenario where they go all the way, just need some match up luck. If Green does noticeably improve the team, then watch up, they legitimately become a contender at that point, but that's yet to be seen so for the time being I think they're not a contender, but they're a play off team who could make a run.

  3. Grayson Allen is on one of the best value contracts in the league and I wanted him on the Nuggets, he would have made this team unstoppable. Cam is way underperforming his contract even if he does provide defense.
