I have this too and every time I read it I cry.
There’s so much collective emotion tied into that “after 43 years, our prayers are answered” statement.
This win was so symbolic of not just the saints, but of the city’s rebound from Katrina.
After so much pain and setbacks it felt like we weren’t just back, we were better than ever
