Seeing as how 5 QBs went before us in 2024 I don’t want to hear them
Umm yeah, we umm lost on purpose yeah that the ticket! Either way welco.e home Mendoza!
We all know how this ends for the Jets. They’ll draft Moore at #2. Glenn will play him too soon because he’s trying to save his job. Moore will flop and Glenn will be fired. Moore will bounce around until he has a great year for the Bucs in 2032.
We should also stop acting like picking Mendoza is a home run that can’t go wrong.
We are in the same boats as jets fans even though we don’t want to be.
We have the #1 pick in a draft without a #1 overall qb. Mendoza as we’re seeing, is on the best team in college football by a mile. Indiana’s run game. O-line, and defense, are all miles better than the the raiders when compared to their respective competion.
I think Mendoza is good, I am a cal football fan, but before we start laughing at jets fans we should realize we’re in a similar position whether we like it or not. Our prospect isn’t a guarantee especially with the state our roster is in.
When Mendoza was at Cal had no receivers, run game, or o-line, no one in this sub knew who he was, and he would have been undrafted had he not transferred. This is not a player who can go into any bad situation and immediately turn it around.
If ppl think we’re getting Josh Allen or drake maye, we’re not, we’re getting a Mac jones level/type player. So if you’re ok taking Mac jones at 1 by all means pick Mendoza.
With the other promising qbs in college, the fact we are not one qb away from being good, im ok passing on a qb, going bpa, and tank for another year. As a raiders fan another 3-14 season honestly can’t hurt me. I’d rather suck now to be good later.
Pride comes before the fall. It would be so raiders if us to draft Moore still. I’m not celebrating until I hear Fernando’s name called.

If Moore doesn’t turn out to be it and this truly is a one QB draft, I could see the Jets trying to entice the Raiders with their draft picks and failing that, going after Malik Willis with a nice two year contract similar to what Justin Fields got, and then if he doesn’t work out, using the Dallas and Indy picks and trying to get Arch in ’27. Unless Mike is on bad terms with Matt, I imagine Mike is asking a crap load of questions about Malik, namely, how did you turn him from dog shit into a starting QB?
the overreaction to moore’s game is hilarious. the kid’s 20 years old with loads of potential.
yes mendoza is our QB at #1 but until moore says he’s going back, calling this a 1 QB draft is wild.
They are going to convince Moore to stay. I still think Dante Moore is going to be a 1st rd QB talent

Honestly, I think that Moore will be a good nfl quarterback. Sure he needs to grow and develop, and I’m VERY happy that we can draft Mendoza, but Moore can be successful with the jets.
Wouldn’t put it past the raiders to draft Moore and leave Jett’s Mendoza 😆 or even better keep Geno smith
I feel bad for them, truly. So much so that I’d let them have Geno back for a 7th.
Have to add that we are very fortunate to not have to make a tough decision. Imagine if Moore or Mendoza didn’t play in these playoffs. There would still be analyst and fans hammering for Moore right now.
We would be absolutely screwed if we didn’t pick at 1 right now. Might make more sense for the Jets to use their pick at 16 for a QB than the pick at 2.
