  1. I mean I feel bad for him, like some days it looks like he can be a shooter. He reminds me of KD, hopefully with KE being there he can teach him. Almost have the same build. He’s still young, but he needs to get better quick.

  2. I know you posted this to roast him, but this is a huge positive for me.

He’s been terrible recently, but this makes me even more convinced that you want to stick with him.

  3. Bari bro, wink twice if the mob is holding your family hostage, cause you a walking time bomb terrorist out there bro.

  4. Great composure for a rough time. I support a player like that. No tunnel vision and still has big picture.

  5. I love this. He knows.

The bums on this sub need to relax and make sure moms working on their meatloaf.

  6. Slumps happen. Progress is not linear. Good that he is owning it and not making excuses. As painful as it may be, the only way to get out is to shoot yourself out.

I dont care about losses if he comes out on the otherside.

I cant know if it will all work out but I know enough to not lose my shit in January.

  7. Jabari is a real one. Props to him for having some self awareness. He’s looked good this year overall and will get out of this recent funk soon

  8. Fake self awareness. At one point late in the 4th I saw him throw up a brick from 3, then the next play down shot it yet again. This was selfish and stubborn, and it surprised me. I am seething at him but more so Ime for enabling this.

  9. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again rockets probably have the worst fanbase ever thats why players don’t commit to this team for a long term

someone could put up prime MJ numbers for 20 straight games and y’all would destroy him on social media for playing bad for a few games

I don’t see how we are winning a chip if we can’t learn to love our players

  10. Like others said it’s good he knows he needs to do better, that attitude is way better than WB who would say something like he never looks at the stats or something.

However the other he should work on is having an alternative to just being a shooter. He should work on his driving game, learn how to power to the hoop for fts. When the shots arent falling taking more shots shouldnt be his only option.

  11. Hmmm Almost like he’s a 22 year old still learning his new role after 3 years of his development not being a priority. We live in such a microwave society that people expect him to he prime chris webber already

  12. Honestly that’s a mature response coming from a young guy like him. People sometimes forget he’s only 22

  13. Some of y’all are shit fans.

This is supposed to be our team no matter what.

Criticism is fine and sometimes it’s warranted but I don’t understand why people feel the need to drag our guys through the mud when they have a bad stretch.
“Bro knows he’s terrible”. Kick rocks man.

    Bandwagon fans aren’t real fans.

  14. People are really not seeing the big picture, with Alpi out his work load has increased dramatically, Tari going down didn’t help that any either. Bari goes out there every night and isn’t afraid to get put on a poster as a young guy making his way in the league he stays in the line of fire at the rim.

He’s in a shooting slump 🤷. I’m not worried because he always has a good work ethic and the right attitude. He’s immensely coachable personnel who stays healthy and has been a work horse. I’d argue that initially this season he really took the confidence leap in his game I wish Amen had.

  15. Has self awareness and a good mentality. He’ll be fine. We were all begging for more Jabari minutes during the warriors series and now this sub wants to get rid of him lmao. Look at his season as a whole before wanting to get rid of players after a shooting slump

  16. I love the way this young man carries himself and goes about his business. I’m not worried about this rough stretch at all.

He’s a young player doing everything he can to figure things out and put it all together. He’s a 3rd overall pick with the talent to back it up and shows the effort on and off the court to be a phenomenal player. Last year we’d go through stretches where every part of our young core (except Alpi) was allergic to the ball and would just refuse to shoot if they weren’t feeling it. My favorite development across the board this year is that they all look hungrier with the ball in their hands. Far fewer passed up open looks because of an off night.

The only thing I’d like to see from Jabari is for him to default to trying to get looks in the midrange when his 3 isn’t falling. The time he spent shadowing KD this offseason is evident in how he handles his middy game this year and it’s probably my favorite thing to watch in our offense.

  17. People have such short memories. Jabari has been through adversity before and has always come out ahead. Also proven that he hits big shots in the clutch in warriors series.

  18. Lets Go Bari, we went through way worse Shit than having 2 Bad shooting games in a row !! fuck the fair weather Fans and keep grinding lets Go Rockets

  19. Jabari’s had a great attitude and work ethic (especially when Ime benched him for Amen). He’ll surmount this offensive slump. At his worst, he is a good role player, versatile defender, and rebounder. He still contributes in other ways even when he’s bricking open looks. Sure, like everyone last night, I winced as the Trailblazers let him shoot against himself. Overall, he has steadily improved overall despite these last few sloppy games. He’s a 22-year-old seven-footer that can shoot 3s (yes consistency is shaky) play good defense, and who puts in work and continues to improve.

  20. Bro knows he *played* terribly*

big difference between that and what you said

i respect bari’s composure and literally nothing he said here is wrong or weird. we did get good looks, and we do have to knock them down and get stops when the other team is trying to gain momentum. sometimes it genuinely is that simple

  21. I’ll buy as much Jabari stock as I can at this low. Dude is a professional and he will turn it around with this attitude and accountability.

  22. Keep your head up, keep working and concentrate on other things and the shot will come back around

Attack the basket, shoot some mid range, get to the line

Then go back to the 3s

  23. I like Jabari. I still think he’s been horrible and one of the main reasons Houston has lost the last few games.

    Both things can be true.

I hope he turns it around, but come on man.. he’s there to be a shooter and his efficiency is trending down.

  24. Real talk, love this.
Still, I would have played Okogie instead of him in the clutch time.
Blazers are huge, but Okogie was balling
