  16. Sean McDermott is so overrated as a coach. I still remember when he was up by 10 against Minnesota, 4th and 2 from the 7 before the 2 minute warning, and he goes for it! Allen is intercepted in the end zone, it's returned to the 40, the Vikes get the TD, they get the ball back, and they send it to OT and win! That's just the kind of coach he is! I knew McDermott wasn't the guy from that day on, and he's proven it! If Allen gets to a SB or even wins one, it will be DESPITE McDermott and not because of him!

  25. All criticism on McDermott is rewarded.
    He is a good regular season coach but failed to deliver in the postseason and is solely responsible for one of the worst postseson losses in Bills history ("13 seconds") among other failures.
    So I also think McDermott is NOT SB HC material.
    But Rex Ryan – of all people – truely has NO BUSINESS WHATSOEVER commenting on a coach who replaced this loudmouth and is
    WAY better in every coaching department than Ryan ever was – certainly as the coach of the Bills.
    Critizising McDermott?
    You betcha.
    But not from this floppy deadbeat who is one of the worst Bills coaches of all time.

  30. I think it’s time we go do some research on all these outstanding playoff games Josh had aside from the 13 sec shii they always reference! He gets no blame and all excuse.

  35. I think if you’re the bills and things don’t go your way this year you’ve got to look at making a change. You’ve got an elite coach in Harbaugh who is a great manager and could potentially elevate things. You also have Mike McDaniels who may have to settle for an OC job (harbaugh and mcdaniels would be a great combo for a team on the cusp of superbowl success). Granted this is your typical it looks good in theory and on paper.

  36. To put it in context, these road losses, except the one in Josh's second season, have come after the Bills advanced in the playoffs! You would think, by the narrative you hear, these were one and done losses.
