  1. Try to sign Bregman for 3 years 90 mil. He'll opt out after the first year anyway. The guys a frog, but at least we'll have the division title for 26. Right handed bat! Beat those Milwaukee Root Beers!

  2. Regarding Bregman last year and the third base situation in Boston how is it not the same thing with Matt Shaw? Don’t get me wrong I don’t know that Matt Shaw is Devers but…

Shaw will probably be a .250 batting average 15 to 20 home runs and 60 to 70 RBI is Bregman at his cost really worth that?

  3. There’s something that you said and I’m gonna drive this point home you said now with the Cubs have some money to work with….. This is the Chicago Cubs one of the best franchises in all baseball financially the third largest market in all baseball now that the Cubs have some money.???? the Cubs all we had money they can afford to spend a way above and beyond the luxury tax thought to see that the kids finally had some money that’s not true. They have plenty of money. They just don’t want to spend it. that is an accurate statement, any more accurate statement they have money but they. have the money they’ve always had the money they have chosen not to spend. there are four big-time free agents out there right now. The biggest one out there is Tucker. this is the guy that the Cubs should be going after I’m talking about a professional baseball team in the third largest market in all baseball. they don’t act like they are the third largest market in baseball. They just don’t after the Cubs won the World Series 2016 Dexter Fowler was a free agent that is somebody they should’ve kept on that team, his defense and his ability to hit in the leadoff position, not having him hurt him in 2017. They should’ve kept Chapman as well and they let him go that hurt them as well. They didn’t wanna spend the money they caught off they could’ve reported it. They chose not to and I seen a lot of of this from that time until now. The GM has to work with what the owners allow them to spend, and the owners of the cubs have settle limit
And that women cannot be crossed it will not be crossed under any circumstance now, the majority of baseball fans here, Knowles for a while, the Cubs can’t afford to go over the luxury cap. They can’t afford to do it, but that is not going to happen. We are basing this on what the Cubs have done in the past could they change? Yes, that’s possible but I just don’t see it happening. Nico Horner is gonna be a free agent now after this year. I don’t expect him to be in the club after this year, especially if he has another good year. And some of the moves that we’ve made based upon the Cubs spending doesn’t make sense. Don’t wanna spend money in free agents, long-term wide trade away to talent young talent for one year rentals you keep that talent you have that for a while and you don’t have to spend the money for it just recent tray. We did it kinda that situation. If we’re not gonna spend big money on free agents, we should’ve never did Detroit with Houston to get darker to the point and I’m saying it was a stupid stupid trade especially if you want to keep payroll lol which is what the Cubs wanna do. I said this before and many are cubs sites and I fully know the goals of the cups spend as little money as possible to keep the Cubs interested and happy and if the Cubs happen to win great that’s a bonus but winning the World Series is not the primary goal here with the Chicago Cubs organization where it is with other franchises their goal is pretty much should be the best profitable franchise in baseball and if winning happens, that’s great but that’s not the main goal. I’ll be getting to accept this now. so again emphasizes us in this hammer home again. The goal is to keep the Cubs competitive just enough to keep us cub fans interested and spend the least amount of money possible to do that so I don’t expect and I do not see the Cubs spending money like the third largest market in all baseball. They’re not gonna act like the Dodgers, the Yankees, Boston, Houston, Toronto, and others even though they can, they’re not when yes the Dodgers are in a category by themselves. so I’m gonna be watching this team to see how far they can go with limited spending. i’m hoping they can exceed expectations.

  4. They won't do anything. All the Ricketts care about is lining their pockets with cash and the fans don't care. If they sign anyone, they will trade away someone else. It's not adding if you have subtract to do it.

  5. What is the issue everyone is having with Shaw??? He saved games with his glove, he was fantastic in the field, and he did have some good hitting. Isn't he still on the upswing at the plate? Would Bregman be that much marginally better, worth the price?

  6. Happy Saturday brother man you rock making my morning my day with insicive awesome content Great 👍 stuff! Big time excited for Bregman although would prefer Tucker I don't know I just have this insane feeling we end up with Tuck man or Bellie bomb Not Breg man love you broski 🎉 IT'S GR8 2 – B ALIVE 😮

  7. Fû¢k Bregman!!!!
He's a cheater!!!! Obviously toxic in the clubhouse who can't get along with teammates! He was implicated in the WS cheating story, and Cubs have an All-star, Gold Glove, pure hitter in Nico Hoerner, who will someday have his own statue next to Ryno's!!!!
Matt Shaw will surpass Bregman's best numbers in '26 and years to come!
    Go Cubs Go!!!!

  8. I'm truly truly upset. I had faith in the team but let in caisse go was a big mistake.BIG. I guess we're stuck with sloppy snail Tucker. The player that jogs to first base, thinking he's driving a bus. Whoever is making these decisions should be fired!

  9. We can still grab another Pitcher to go along with a BIG BAT, and still extend NICO.

There's are lots of inning eaters out there that's CHEAP…Stroman, Quintana, Verlander just to name a few.

If we do decide to trade Nico for some reason, Peralta looks MEATY as well.

  10. Jed calls Boras on Bregman, then Boras asks: hey, what about Cody?
Jed replies : what numbers you think?
Boras says: we have Yankees offering 32m for 5 years
Jed says: great, we will pass
Then the next day, Boras leaked that conversation to media claiming Cubs had in talks with him about Cody !
    Really??
That’s how agents try to “create” markets for their clients!

  11. The Cubs will never bring Bellinger back, but he's the player we should actually be targeting. He deserves every penny he's asking for. He can slug, he can hit, he can run, he can play high quality defense at several positions, he's FUN to watch, he has an MVP ceiling, he personally made the summer of '23 must watch Cubs. He should have never been traded and he needs to come back.

  12. Tucker is the most boring big leaguer I've ever seen. Maybe aside from Ian Happ. Can't imagine sitting through several years of his contract. Watch him hit .265 and frown for six years? Forget it!

  13. Why do you keep going back to a Catcher Mick??? Amaya is under control for 4 years & Kelly is here this year & next. They are BOTH good defensive catchers who are good with pitchers & the run game management.
