Parsons is obviously an elite player but he was carried off his name recognition for the AP voting this year.
I believe what Chase Young did in 12 games and far less snaps than any of the other AP Edge rushers this year to be one of the biggest AP snubs in recent memory.
If Young had the season he did on a media darling team he would be a DPOY candidate.

Difference is one did all that while being doubled and tripled. No hate to Young but it’s not really even close yet. He may get there but not yet
I always just feel like we should ignore all pro and pro bowl teams.
It’s hard for a 6-11 team to get on those rosters.
We had a great year and have a lot of promise/future success
chase continues this next season and he will get his ap nod
These selections don’t really matter (the fact that they put Stafford over Maye says enough) but It’s surprising how little attention Chase Young has gotten. He and Shough have saved the Saints.
I have always been a College Football fan above being an NFL fan. That being said, if you remember- Chase was an absolute beast at OSU and a Heisman Trophy finalist that was drafted as the 2nd overall pick in his draft class and was more highly touted than Parsons was coming out of college. Parsons was the 12th overall pick of his class. The difference is that Young took a little longer to mature and I believe he was also in the wrong environment for him to succeed until he became a Saint. He will only get better!
I was getting downvoted by people when I said Young is just as good as Parsons
