  3. I’m sure haters will start saying he’s too humble but I’ll take this over blank dvds and being able to throw the ball 70 yards to the wide open safety.

  6. I can’t believe how many people were iffy about this dude. At minimum he’s gonna be a top 15 qb.

    Mendoza looks like one of the best QBs coming out in a long time. I really hope the Raiders don’t screw this pick up.

  10. It’s the footwork and especially the protection check that gets me fired up. It’s not just “I need to throw ball better”. The mental side of the game he is selling me on so hard.

  11. A perfectionist and trying to find a way to improve. Always willing to compliment his teammates and that they deserve the accolades as much if not more than him.

    That’s the QB we need.

  12. During the broadcast, they mentioned how Mendoza’s trajectory is a bit like Joe Burrow’s. I had been thinking that. He just looks better and better the more you watch him. And I absolutely love his brain. I’ve been a fan for over fifty years, and it just feels good to be excited again, especially since he’s so easy to root for.

  15. I swear this guy has a photographic memory or something. He’ll have a great career in broadcasting when he hangs up the cleats.

  16. Healthy ego, smart, strong teammate, good head on his shoulders – very positive traits to bring to an org with an ingrained losing culture.

    I hope Spytek can get the best coach for him. Who knows, maybe working with Mendoza will be seen as a positive for a potential coach.
