There is very little heart on this team. No leader. Coach killed our stars. Our defense is terrible. Our offense is average.

24. A lot can be said about the FO, the coach, etc but Ja has done himself no favors. Forget all the gun stuff, his availability health wise has been abysmal. He's also regressed as a player. We as a fan base have to be more honest about what we are seeing. They just blew a 21 pt lead to the Thunder. Trip is NOT a number 1 or 2 option for a championship team, but his salary says otherwise. They both need to be traded.

25. I really hope Ja stays in Memphis. He’s my favorite player and a big reason I still go to the games. Last game I went to was the pistons game, even though it was a loss the games always more exciting when he plays. This actually sickens me Memphis loves Ja. I don’t think we will get anyone close to his talent by trading him. What are they thinking?

28. I'm not trying to be a dick, but anyone truly objective would have traded Ja Morant sooner than this and gotten a huge return compared to whatever is left now. He is not the centerpiece of a championship team. He does not have the mentality you want to lead a team. I wanted him to go over 2 years ago now. They wouldn't trade the face of our small market franchise that helps sell tickets, though. They wanted to build around the exciting, flashy athletic guy who is small and wiry, not at all a good shooter for a PG, immature, arrogant, mentally and physically fragile. I can only imagine who/what we could have swapped him for a couple years ago. If somehow Minnesota for instance wants Ja and will give up Reid or Randle…they should be thrilled to take that. If Sacramento wants to give up Monk and a 1st or something like that, be thrilled to take that. Tre Young was unloaded for so little that I don't know what they could realistically get back of substance for Ja. He's bad for the team chemistry and is not someone you want leading the team. I care about the Memphis Grizzlies winning, and Ja is not the answer to ever chasing any titles. The people in the comments here who seem disgusted that they would trade Ja are ridiculous human beings that don't want the best possible future for the team as a whole.
