  1. Yeah let’s keep getting hyped about prospects just like any other small market team. Let’s go back to the days where we sign free agents who are going to help us win now

  2. It was 2/15/2025 when Redsox signed Bregman last year. The squeeze by Boras for every last cent could backfire if Redsox go after someone else. Baseball should set an early date for free agents signing which should be end of winter meetings.

  3. you should check out the puertorican pitcher Eduardo Rivera (22 yrs old) played A and AA last year with sox! currently playing winter break in the semifinal he pitched 2 games totaling stats of 13 IP, 4 hits allowed, 1 earned run and 17K!!! playing for cangrejeros of santurce

  4. Not everyone needs to hit HR's. Guys like Boggs and Mattingly had great careers and were not big power hitters. The Sox need the type of guys that can get on base so the true power batters can hit multiple run HR's. There is nothing wrong with being a good contact hitter if you are getting on base.

  5. Henry Godbout is a good prospect (Supplemental 2nd Round-2025). However, it's Enddy Azocar that puzzles me. Recently, he's been mentioned as a Top 20 prospect. I wondered why. There was no PR about him in the International Draft a couple of years ago and his professional numbers don't jump off the page. Can you do an analysis on him, Corbin?

  6. There's too much emphasis in MLB for home run hitters that bat .230. I'd rather have a .280 hitter who knows the strike zone ans has a good BB/K ratio
. Fenway was made for doubles hitters!

  7. A guy can hit 12-15 homers and still be really valuable. You can’t have just bat to ball though. I think you have to be great at drawing walks., base running and defense. That can make an mvp.
