1. WE BEAT A CANADIAN TEAM! I REPEAT WE BEAT A CANADIAN TEAM! (*6-game losing streak vs them snapped*)

   No Barkov, no Tkachuk, no Marchand, no Jones, no Kulikov, no Gadjovich, no Nosek.

   That was a ***badly*** needed win after the points we’ve been bleeding the last few games, especially against Atlantic teams. Not the prettiest W but I’ll take them however we can get them at this rate.

   Good job limiting shots by the Senators all night. Bob stepped up and made some big stops such as the Giroux breakaway late in the 3rd period. Great shots by Verhaeghe on the PP and Goose to give us some insurance late which we ended up needing. Wish we could put away an empty netter to save our lives.

   As an aside, goddamn Eetu is such a joy to watch on the PK. One-man machine.

16. Looked up last time we scored 3+ goals and it was against Washington on 12/29, which I found hard to believe. Happy to see some offense for what felt like a decade.

18. After I complained about Tarasov not starting, Bobrovsky had a great game. I don’t put the two goals on him honestly.

    Also they showed his numbers in his last 15 games vs the Sens and I feel silly now. Makes sense that he started.
