Gruden comes back. Kubiak is OC. Carr comes back. Do we trade the number one pick? Try to secure an extra pick in next year's first and swap first rounders this year. Or trade with the jets or browns for 2 first rounders. Get a wr, d line, o line. Take qb next year in the draft. Plus ruggs is eligible for parole August 2026 at the earliest.

I'm so tired of hearing about a QBs 'physical skills", which is just a euphemism for RPO QB. Problem is, an RPO QB has never led a team to a championship. Ever. While "Physical Skills QBs" are great for fantasy football, what wins super bowls is a QB who can read complex defenses and react quickly and throw accurately. Just take Mendoza. Do you know who had great physical skills? Tim Tebow. Do you know who dropped in the draft because of a lack of physical skills? Brady…..Montana.

Bring Carr back to start the season. Draft Mendoza and slowly bring him in to let him get the feel of the pace of the NFL. I’m sure Carr would not have a problem with that. With Derek's personality and drive I think this is the part of his career that needs to be used (MENTOR). Mendoza is the guy we need. I personally want to see Curt Cignetti be the HC since he is a Raider (personality, drive, old school coaching of build from the lines out run the shit out of the ball to open up the passing game).
HIgher Ceiling and arm strength were all things everyone screamed about before Jamarcus was drafted. Attitude and work ethics are what we need Mendoza has showed that in spades.
