This team just doesn't have the players that can score regularly. Their shots on goal are many but mostly right into the opposing goalie. They don't go to the net. The excuses just don't cut it. The team just doesn't have it. Nothing will change this but a rebuild but all good AHL prospects have been traded away.

We got man handled by Florida two years ago and rightfully decided to change our style of play to a more straight line,physical approach. Two seasons and many new players later and we are still a team that passes backwards more than forward. Our forwards treat the opponentās net front as if it were mined. A total house cleaning and rebuilding is required! And can we stop the 100 year pregame celebrations followed by a loss ? Itās embarrassing! Weāve won one Cup in 86 years , thereās nothing to celebrate about.

Sabres are an absolute wagon right now. NYR played pretty well, if it wasn't for Samuelsson with an absolutely incredible SH goal, it's a different game.
Ok Steve, Game, Team, Player. Iāll play along: Game-team doesnāt generate enough offense again, falls behind, plays a desperate third period but again weāre one Buffalo shot/Rangers mistake away from a virtually insurmountable lead which Buffalo gets 15-secs into a 4-min power play. Team: theyāve won 5 games at home – it is Jan 9th, consistently generates very little offense with low shot totals leaving themselves susceptible to any goalie in the league who is just having a good night, the power play doesnāt work without Fox, they donāt attack the net nearly enough, and what little chemistry that existed in any line seems to be undone by injury. Player: Lafreniere is not working – itās time for a change. Laba and Robertson have been young bright spots, but Perreault needs a full year in Hartford and a few more pounds. Berard shows promise but never for long. The other callups have been nothing more than warm bodies. Ask yourself this Steve: Does this team look like it can win 4 games out of 7 against any playoff-bound team? If the answer is no, then major changes are in order including in the front office.
Laffy should he held accountable. Sit him out. Or trade him for a bag of pucks.

Did you ever try fixing something and the more you've tried you kept making it worse ? From the time Chris Drury got in he sent key players packing on this NYR team. Drury destroyed the core of this team, go ahead make more trades and think you're going to win. Too many bad moves by Chris Drury trying to cover up his mistakes. You just can't build a winning culture this way. The Rangers don't have enough depth to win or make a trade for a players that can boost this team to win. š
