I just wanted to come back. Let you all know. Awhile back Bryce had his big 400+ yard game. And I still wasn't convinced. So I came on here and talked trash on him. I said back then. That if he proves me wrong. I'll come back and take my humble pie. And I'm nothing if not a man of my word.
Well here I am. I was wrong. He is the franchise QB we need. He has earned my respect. Something he should have already had. This team. The team he leads. Has a bright future ahead of it.
I was always proud to be a panther fan. And for 10 years. I stayed with them. But over the last 2. My broken heart got the better of me. And I started talking major crap on players in my own team. So feel free to clown me. As much as you want. Cause I deserve my licks.
It was nice feeling the spirit of panther nation come alive again. That was a whole team effort. But Bryce is a big part of that. And I love it.
Forever a Panther fan. #KeepPounding

i’m not gonna say he’s a franchise qb until after his 4th year is concluded. he could very well regress next season, nothing is guaranteed.
Oh the pro Bryce squad isn’t looking to clown anyone, especially those that are just WILLING THE GIVE THE KID A CHANCE. This isn’t a “ha ha you like him we were right”. Not the discord anyone actually wants. We want a united group, cohesively rooting for our team. We all pound together, keep pounding.
Even after the Atlanta game I was still team “don’t pick up Bryce’s 5th year option so we can see what he’s made of with his back against the wall” but I think we saw that tonight. I’m not ready to extend him yet, but he’s earned his 5th year option.
Let’s see what we get from him against a 1st-place schedule next season, I’m already ready to get hurt again.
Big respect coming back and admitting this – wish others would too! In Bryce we Trust!📈📈📈
Bryce is so solid and just performs in high stakes situations if they let him sling downfield. He can be the guy.
Welcome to the good side.
There’s no reason to clown on you except for using periods where you should use commas. Glad you’re on the right side now.
This is for the commenter. Who deleted his comment. And to clear up. How long I have been a fan.
I get how you think that from my post. I was referencing the bad decade we just had. I was a fan even through that mess. Is what I meant. But that’s on me for not being clear.
I have been a fan since I was a kid. I was born in 92. I have a picture of me wearing a panthers t shirt in Atlanta (while visiting family.) in 97. Because I demanded we represent our new team while we were there. And I didn’t even understand the concept of rivals/divisions. I was just happy we had a team. And yes I am aware the team has been around since 95. But I don’t have proof of a 3 year old me. Only a 5 year old me.
So no sir. I have been here since day 1. Even if I can’t remember those days. I was there.
71.3 qbr and 53% passing. Not good enough. I’m fine wth him if we can’t upgrade but he is still a below average qb.
They had a losing record and the panthers match up well against the rams defense for some reason. Otherwise, they generally suck
As a Day 1 Panthers fan I have seen my share of bad quarterbacking. Jimmy Clausen being the best example. Bryce Young isn’t Pat Mahomes or Tom Brady. But could he be a top 5 QB in the league? Absolutely.
Get Bryce a line and he’ll be ok
He’s not as bad as it seemed like but I don’t think he has that X factor like a real playoff+ team needs. Just comparing to near his draft class it seems like Caleb Williams, Stroud and Daniels got that in them that I don’t see Bryce ever being able to reach. Making the clutch moves happen when it really counts
I remember Drew Brees being labeled a bust after 4 years in SD. Not saying Bryce is Brees, but after year 3 I love the progress I’m seeing. Fans need to back this man and the organization needs to get him some more weapons
My goal at the beginning of the year was to be competitive . We did that and more. A couple of different breaks and we’re flying to Seattle. Great year and I’m counting down to training camp.
BY is still mid imo. Id take 20 other starting QBs over him. Next year ill probably take 25.
Grateful for 8-10 jeeeeez
I’m ready to ride with Bryce for a few more years.
I’ve been a big skeptic, and I think deservedly so.
But man, that game yesterday? I dunno if it was the heightened emotions, the resiliency, us being such underdogs and fighting so hard…THAT was something to build on. Bryce CARRIED that offense. He played exceptionally well after that 1st quarter. I haven’t loved the team like I did yesterday for…8 years it feels like? Since the TB blowout game right before the infamous Steelers TNF game. Last night were the Panthers I loved. Being massive underdogs and not giving a shit, never quitting, the black end zones, that crowd, hard hitting…I was so proud.
This game earned him another year for me. I think all we need to see now is CONSISTENCY. Let’s keep in mind in a normal year, we wouldn’t be in the playoffs with an 8-9 record. So the whole team has to stop beating themselves and make significant improvements next year if we want a chance to experience this again.
But the most important upgrade comes from #9. We need week-to-week performances more similar to this than the low, low, lost in the headlight games. Those have to be eliminated. This will be year 4. We can’t have them anymore.
There clearly is *something* there with him. When he shows up, his accuracy is incredible, his ability to make plays out of the pocket is exceptional, anticipation is amazing, etc. But when he’s off, it’s like watching someone who shouldn’t be starting. It’s the wildest QB experience I’ve had watching someone.
But yesterday bought a ton of real estate from me. And I’m thrilled about it. TMac and Coker are our definite WR1 and WR2, and I feel like that’s finally established. We have two great receivers. Our run game was jekyl and Hyde this year, so we need to figure out if it was the big injuries on the o-line, us realizing Rico and Chuba are better as 1B running backs (and needing to find that 1A), and then I do think Dave could benefit from having an OC.
As a fan of the team, it’s in our best interest to hope Bryce IS the guy. Last night, he took a big step into doing that. That was a ballsy performance. I have a ton of respect for him now. Let’s chase this feeling and momentum.
Let’s inject some more talent into the team. Let’s stop beating ourselves. And let’s get some consistency, from this position especially.
Bryce, that was baller man.
