With Zion set to play in DC for the second time tonight, let’s revisit his first as well as only appearance in DC thus far

You heard that right, Zion has been in the league for an x number of years yet only managed to suit up in DC once, just once

April 16th 2021, in Zion’s second season in the league, he finally managed to step foot inside capital one arena

For the first time in his pro career, he played a game in DC

21 points, 6 rebounds, 8-16 from the field, fouling out in the process

Zion finished his night fouling out as Westbrook nailed the go ahead free throws

Little did anyone know, this would be Zion’s only appearance in the arena

For various reasons, he didn’t play. Tonight, it will change

Just sharing this with you guys. He never played in front of the DC crowd, it will all change tonight (barring any unforeseen circumstance)

  1. Ahh the good ole days. Back when Zion was training hard, rebuilding his body and dedicating himself to the team.

Great example of someone who has actually done those things behind Zion in the very first photo. A 20 year old from Israel who has improved every single season and will likely be an All-Star this year.

  2. He was so fat back then lol. That was his athletic prime too. Imagine how good he would have been if he was in shape
