He’s 21 already if you believe a January 1 birthday from someone born in Senegal. Often times a January 1 date of birth can be a sign that the true DOB is unknown. That said, usually the year is right so if you want to be optimistic maybe he is 20.
All that said, an article listing the top 10 incoming international players to the Big 12 had him in honourable mentions.
I really want another center with our second 1st rounder. Idk who this guy is but someone in this mold would be amazing. Someone who can anchor a second unit defensively and also play double big with Sarr would be perfect.
He’s a true freshman. Spent his time playing in Spain. He’s a product of Real Madrid’s development program. Just came to the US this year.
Probably gonna rocket up the draft boards.
Doubt he’s there but if he falls we could take him with the OKC pick monster lockdown lineup with Traes playmaking could make us interesting next year
Sun Devil alum – I’d love to see one of our guys on the roster. The teams always have their issues and Bobby is a good but not great coach, but he usually gets a lot of energy guys who are more than happy to do the little things, which young teams always need.
I think we do need a bulkier C. But someone who might be a lob threat. For Trae Capela worked. Also Jarrett Allen has been good next to Mobley and Chet has Ihart.
Out of curiosity I looked and Middleton, Malaki and Cam work in exchange for John Collins and Zubac. Also Joan Beringer impressed me in summer league and he’s another french speaker not getting much time. Noah Penda from Orlando who was killing us with Jace was also killing us and i think he can be good against the phyiscal fours like Randle, Zion who we don’t have personell to defend. Exchanged jerseys with Bilal at the end of the game. If Memphis is a seller i’d also try get Santi Aldama.
