For the end of the slump 🤞

  1. 🙏 “please let them stop shooting line-drive clanks but instead high arching swishes….amen”

  2. Castle and Harper’s slump is connected to HB’s slump and Vassell being out. After Christmas, other teams started guarding them with multiple bodies at the paint, while the Spurs’ shooting slump began. That’s why they haven’t really been able to get it going yet.

  3. I think for Steph it’s partially because the rest of the league has finally caught on to how good he is and have figured out how to defend him better. Once he adjusts to these new defensive schemes, he’ll be back to normal 💪

  4. Real OGs remember the multiyear period where if Keldon touched the ball he was 100% going to drive into the chest of the opposing big, not even look at his teammates until it was too late, flail up a layup and then look around at the refs. He’s arguably just coming out of that period now that he has developed a bit more of a bag with his back to the basket, and at least had the benefit of being an ok spot up shooter

  5. Everything is a system. Castle is getting respected more in the paint by defenses now and they’re free to do that because the rest of the team can’t land the 3.
