The Suns situation will be hilarious no matter what because either we traded Mark to them and he gets them into the playoffs (currently happening) and wrecks our pick, or he falls apart and they end up in the lottery.
We get the worse of the pick, If both don’t make it than yeah but if one does as a play in then at best we get like 18th pick?
Genuinely yeah right now we’re mocked for 8,21 and 46 in the second round I was just doing some tankathon stuff and I already know a few options of who I would want at 21
Even if they fall around 19-21, there are plenty of really underrated prospects who are gonna fall to there. This draft is really insane
The Suns pick will be the less favorable of the magic/suns.
It’s possible that both will be in the lottery, but unlikely.
In any event, this upcoming offseason is a big one.
All of the small(er) contracts (Miles Bridges, Josh Green, Grant Williams, Tre Mann) all become expirings.
The Hornets will have the ammunition to make a deal if one comes up.
We could theoretically and that would be great but honestly I think their picks will be earlier than our own and I stand by that.
Hornets making the playoffs this year
The last mock draft I saw from USA Today had us taking Orlando’s pick at 18. Taking that big from Kentucky.
