Matt LaFleur PERFECT FIT for Tennessee Titans, Mike McDaniel Skepticism & Kevin Stefanski Interviews

The Tennessee Titans had Matt LaFleur in Nashville when he was the offensive coordinator for the 2018 team and if the Green Bay Packers let him go, the Titans need to pounce and bring him back home. LaFleur immediately becomes the top candidate on the market with a bullet. John Harbaugh is the second-best candidate and while he has reported real interest in the Titans, Tyler thinks he is using the Titans to get more out of a more desired spot like the New York Giants. The Titans added a bunch of new interviews over the weekend with some great names like Mike McCarthy, Mike McDaniel and Kliff Kingsbury. This is an exciting next step after a concerning first week. Finally, the Titans completed seven interviews in Week 1 of the coaching search and none of the names outside of Kevin Stefanski make sense, but because of the current coaching landscape, Stefanski may be more likely than previously though. Also, Jeffery Simmons and Chimere Dike made the NFL’s 1st team All-Pro list and Titans fans should be overjoyed to see it.

  7. Stop the cap Tyler😂😂😂. We do not know that LeFleur is going to be fire and it's not confirmed. Wait until Tuesday to Friday there will be a head coach will be on a team. Let the journalists do thier job and you are not one.

  13. I watched the Panthers game and their DC looked really looked good to me, especially considering the state of the defense when he began his work with them. Their secondary was fabulous. What do you thing about him. I know no one has mentioned him, but I suspect he could be a real leader of men.

Pretty sure he’s not going anywhere. Second, do you really think he’d come back to TN after seeing the wreckage that ownership has wreaked upon this team? Guess i shouldn’t be so negative….it’s just the history of the past 5 years….hell, I don’t want to go to Nashville to see them; why would a good coach want to come here unless all the other teams already found their coaches and this was the only opening unfilled?

  25. Leflerur is the only offensive minded coach I would love to get. Look at what he did with Malik Willis, he was with us and couldn't get 50 passing yards and now he's throwing 250+. My favorite isn't a candidate I don't think he's even going to get interviews but Flores

  29. Would LeFleur come to the Titans in our current rebuild? He might want a more stable team? He would be a top choice if available and I would welcome him with open arms!!

  35. I'm not saying that Vance Joseph will be a good option, but if he does get hired, which is very, very unlikely, but if he could bring Davis Webb with him, I wouldn't be super angry. My list: 1 Matt LaFleur, 2 McCarthy, 3 John, 4 Kevin Stefanski, 5 Robert Saleh, and then 6 any of these young DC names (Shula, halfey, or Minter) Only options I would be ecstatic with.

  40. Please let this happen. I always thought Lafleur should have been the Titans coach instead of Vrabel also. Vrabel did a good jog and is a great coach, but Titans would still be good and contending if they hired Lafleur.
