  1. I will never forgive Jake for making Mike T seem like a logical professional GM….

If Jake didn’t have the memory of a goldfish, he would remember some of the good things AG did before the practice squad players hit the field

  2. Gotta laugh at all these wanna be GMs.. most have never even coached a peewee league, then trying to tell someone whos actually done the job how bad of a job they are doing.. 😂

  3. Agreed with Mike. Would be completely incompetent to fire him after 1 season.
Jake and other impatient jet fans are basing firing Aaron after one season on the Pats and Vrabel but Vrabel is a proven winner who played for the franchise and has a ton of experience and knows exactly how to be a head coach. Aaron is still learning and needs time.
What did Parcells do his first season? He was shit. The giants almost fired him and thank god for them that they didn’t.
Agreed Woody is a shit owner and I blame a lot of the performance of the second half of last year and this year on him for firing saleh after 5 games of last season instead of in the beginning.
If he fired Glenn after this one season again, how are the players going to feel? I’m not a team hopper but if he did that I’d most likely be done with the jets and football in general. Would rather quit football than root for another team and rooting for a team owned by woody, I’m already on thin ice with

  4. i've said it before and i'll say it again: formal debate is incredible off-season content. this video is why. you smoked him, jake. he's dishonest at best, braindead at worst.

  5. Tanenbaum is a Woody Johnson toady, and he’s defending his own recommendation. No credibility whatsoever. He’s like every politician who can’t critique themselves negatively because they’re always running for reelection.

  6. People keep bringing up winning a few games at the end of the season would have been a positive for them, but if they did that fans would be complaining about them winning meaningless games at the end of the season

  7. What is this clown tannenbaum smoking smart HC holding players accountable this team is doomed with Glenn as the HC and didn't this idiot group hire glenn and he sounds like a prick talking to jake get after his ass bro

  8. Of the new coaches that started in 2025 only two had worse records in their first year than the team had in 2024 Pete Carroll fired and The Dancing Machine. Every other first year coach improved the record' some dramatically. Tannanbaum is protecting the 33rd team. He obviously has a conflict of interest. Protecting the company that brought Glenn to New York. Tannenbaum is biased because of that relationship. The only other new coach who lost more games than their last years team was Pete Carroll who got fired. Quit believing the scam that Woody was "pissed." That's out there for you to consume. If he actually gave a rip Glenn would be gone.

  9. Mike T was also one of the biggest advocate for the Jets to get rid of Sam Donald and draft Zack Wilson, and for some strange reason this dude continues to get opportunities to give his analyst about how a teams should be run he stinks!!!

  10. I'm so sick of Mike Tannenbaum defending this bullshit it's his fault this is his mistake and he continues to defend it He's probably in Woody's ear telling what a great coach Aaron Glen will be

  11. Mike T sounds so corporate and tone deaf it’s crazy. We just had one of the worst years in nfl history. The owner stopped showing up. The coach almost cried. And Tannenbaum makes it sound like this was the plan.

Was it the plan for the Jets to become a national media laughing stock? Some bleeping plan Mike!

  12. I’m a New York Giants fan but I’ve always liked your show. I’ve been watching you since the wheel House I love how just because you on this platform you see the mistakes your team makes and have a voice and don’t let Mike get away with that bullshit that he’s trying to sell you guys he knows damn well this is bullshit..

  13. Let’s understand something, no coach goes into the season trashing their quarterback. When you look back at the available free agent QBs you had Sam Darnold who was never coming back to the Jets, Russell Wilson who had a 47.9 QBR in 2024, Jameis Winston with 52.2 and a penchant for throwing the ball to the other team, Justin Fields with 47.4, Marcus Mariota who recorded a 57.7 in 2022 because he didn’t have any significant playing time after that,Mason Rudolf with 52.2, Andy Dalton who is over the hill with a 52 QBR, Daniel Jones who reported a 44.4, Jacoby Brissett with 41.5 and Carson Wentz who reported 34.4 in 2022 because like Mariota, didn’t have any significant playing time after that point. Justin Fields had the most upside of all the available free agent QBs. Let’s stop using hindsight to pick out who the best option at QB was. They went with Fields, it didn’t work, move on.

Through week 10, the Jets had only 2 non-competitive games, one to the Bills and one to the Cowboys. The Bears also had 2 non-competitive games in the first 10 weeks, losing to the Lions and Ravens. Save me the speech about bad defense. It’s a testament to how the players responded to AG that they kept them in games with Fields under center.

The last 5 weeks were a disaster? Yeah, I wonder why. Brady Cook, Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie were featured in that offense. Prior to 2025, the most targets AD had was 55 for 312 yds. Metchie had 37 for 254 yds.

You want to say it was as bad as David Culley in 2021. Culley had 4 wins, 2 with Tyrod Taylor behind center and 2 with Davis Mills. Davis Mills was a 3rd round pick. Brady Cook was a UDFA. Davis Mills posted a 92.2 rating vs. Jacksonville & 130.6 vs the Chargers in the wins. He was throwing to Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins. Deshaun Watson was having a problem with massage parlours at that time. Culley had talent on his team. AG did not, plain and simple. No first time HC missing a good Quarterback has ever won anything. Zac Taylor almost joined that group of castoffs had it not been for Joe Burrow getting drafted.

Bottom line, give AG a good quarterback, then judge him. Otherwise, you have no basis for getting rid of him. The next guy would face the same issue. The Jets in 2024, with Aaron Rodgers, were blown out 4 times under Saleh/Ulbrich. They won 5 games. AG without Rodgers won 3 and would have probably won more had Taylor not gotten hurt.
