  1. CEDRIC COWARD IN THE GRIZZLIES WIN AGAINST THE NETS :

    – 21 Points
    – 8 Rebounds
    – 8/15 FG | 5/10 3PT
    – +6 +/-
    – 27 Minutes

Cedric Coward has so much Kawhi in his game

    虽然对手是一支无欲无求的篮网,而且灰熊几乎葬送了16分领先优势,但W is a W。一场急需的、挽救球队/球迷心态的胜利!

    Jock grabbed 70 offensive rebounds.

Ced showed exactly why he deserves a rookie max extension ahead of schedule.

Cam demonstrated the qualities a national-championship-winning starting point guard is supposed to have.

Jaren came up with several key defensive plays.

Yes, the opponent was a Nets team with nothing to play for, and yes, the Grizzlies nearly blew a 16-point lead—but a win is a win. This was a much-needed victory, one that helps stabilize both the team’s mindset and the fan base.

  3. Kenny low-key one of the best bench players in the league. Little bit overpaid but still a valuable dude to have.

  4. KCP probably needs to be playing more moving forward over Wells. Veteran presence and his shot seems to be falling lately.

  5. A year from now we’ll be talking about how dominant Ced and Edey are together and the rest of the present noise will be a distant memory.

  6. didn’t give up 4 turnovers or shoot 8/20 from the field

the guys are slowly learning how to play a fourth quarter!

  7. This game doesn’t give me hope in coach Iisalo and he still needs to be fired.

The only thing this gives me hope in is Cedric Coward. And that Landale should be on our team even after we’re healthy (lmao, whenever that is).

  8. I would be significantly more depressed about this season if not for Cedric Coward

Immediate redemption from last game you can tell that last possession in OKC bothered him

Everyone else besides Jock and Cam really hurt to watch tbh

  9. Way to execute late and still pull out the win. The finish was really nice both offensively and defensively.

This team did not have the offensive grinding to a halt before the last couple games. Thunder did put more pressure on in the second half, but some of these possessions even down guys in the 4th qtr have been atrocious.

Whistle was questionable today. Shouldn’t have mattered as much as it did, but felt like it was a 2:30 tip for the refs in every way as well. Good to get a W before the team leaves for Europe.

  10. 7-2 in the platinum jerseys feel like the black mlk jerseys from the injury year where that was the signal we were allowed to win games

  11. Always love to see a dub but outside of Ced and (mostly) Cam these guys looked like certified bums in the second half. Worst team in the NBA energy.

JJJ keeps having 1 game out of every 5 where he looks good and people overlook the 4 dumpster fire games in between. Bro looks absolutely terrible.

Wells looks absolutely awful dude. Idk what’s up with him but he cannot be a meaningful contributor on this team as streaky as his play has been. He’s either been really good or really bad. That’s unacceptable.

  12. Hard watch, but this is the level we’re at now ig. Nice W onto the next one do your best grizz🫡

I swear the emotionality and mood swings in that game thread are why women say that men are the emotional ones. Yall are wild. You simultaneously want a tank due to injuries but expect TI to be winning during every moment of every game but also want us to lose for the tank… but want us to win against competition both good and bad… with half a roster?

    Wild.

Glad for the W. If for no other reason than TI survives to spite the hatemob for a little longer.

  14. I don’t care, y’all. A win is a win. Especially with what we’ve been dealing with. I had a blast! It took till the end, but the house was rocking when we made our comeback and closed this sucker out. Go Grizz!

  15. The Grizzlies are broken and they’re not playing with enthusiasm. They’re just going through the motions and Jaylen seems like he is regressing. Again, poor coaching and those atrocious rotations almost cost them the game.

  16. Wells has been alternating good and bad months, which shouldn’t be the case for a starter getting the minutes he has.

KCP has been solid but he is best suited as a bench stabilizing piece.

GG should have the opportunity to start and get the Wells minutes. He got 20 last game but was benched on this one, gotta be frustrating for him. At this point, it might be better for the Grizz to see what they really have in GG who has the higher upside anyway rather than praying for a good Wells shooting night.
