Hellbent on trying to make that Risacher trade happen I guess

  1. It says the pivot to Gafford means Zach wouldn’t be in any negotiations. I don’t think we’re getting Zach unless we overpay. A Gaff trade would probably happen for Kennard + the Cavs pick.

  2. Gafford is honestly more tradable than Davis at this point, not necessarily more valuable but more movable

  3. What if they throw in Zach and filler (maybe Cavs swap pick) but we have to give gaff and naji for that trade, would yall do it?

  4. I love Gaff and would be bummed to see him go but he doesn’t really have as much value on this team without a pick and roll ball handler to play with. He’s a valuable piece for a team with actual nba level guards.

  5. Give us that cleveland pick and Kennard’s expiring. Free’s up salary and we can go get a shooter like Cameron Carr or stretch big like Chris Cenac with that pick

  6. I’m still in the boat of not trading Gafford. Unless you get a blown away offer. The reason I say this, we want pieces/assets in trades, correct? Gafford is already a piece imo and very affordable one. I expect AD’s played his last game as a Mav. Do we really want to go into next season relying on Lively being our only center? If we trade Gaff, that make a hole at center we’ll need to fill. Could be filled via a trade sure. But depending on whatever cap room, if any, we’re able to make this offseason. Free agent options at center would make the Dlo signing look great.
